Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT), now recognized as Agusan del Sur State University (ADSSU), proudly celebrates a major institutional milestone after being granted Institutional Accreditation โ Level II Status by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP).
The recognition was formally conferred today, March 24, 2026, during the 39th AACCUP Annual National Conference and General Assembly held at Central Park Hotel, Malate, Manila. This achievement affirms the universityโs steadfast commitment to quality assurance, academic excellence, and transformative education, marking a significant step forward in its continuing evolution as a higher education institution.
Complementing this recognition, the universityโs accreditation status also underwent technical review and validation by the National Network of Quality Assurance Agencies (NNQAA) Inc., upon the recommendation of AACCUP. The result was officially recognized during the NNQAA Quality Assurance Summit and Conferment Ceremony held on March 5, 2026, at The Heritage Hotel Manila, further validating the institutionโs compliance with national quality standards.
As a prestigious distinction among State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), Institutional Accreditation is awarded to institutions that demonstrate excellence in key areas such as instruction, research, extension, and administrative support systems, affirming that ADSSU meets rigorous national standards under Level II status.
