Economic realities are not just your usual “normal issue” we constantly face — they are lived experiences shaped by policies, systems, and decisions that directly affect the people. IskOUnomics Talks 2026 brings economic discussions and societal issues closer to the IskOUlar community through a series of podcast episodes and informative materials that unpack “what’s behind” the realities we face.

To understand the numbers is to confront the realities they represent. As we continue to examine the economic issues that shape our collective struggles, may we move beyond awareness toward critical consciousness, informed discourse, and meaningful action.

💪 𝙈𝙖𝙮𝙤 𝙐𝙣𝙤: 𝙎𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙩𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙁𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙤 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙚𝙧𝙨

Today, we raise our voices for every Filipino whose sweat and sacrifice keep our nation moving. 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗮𝘆 is not just a celebration; it is a reminder of the resilience of workers who tirelessly build, serve, and uplift, even when wages fall short and recognition is scarce.

Though many endure long hours and heavy burdens, the spirit of the Filipino worker remains unbreakable. Their strength is the 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆, and their perseverance deserves dignity, fair pay, and respect.

Let us honor not only the labor but the courage behind it, for every hand that works is a hand that shapes the future.
