UE Brings Health, Nutrition, and Joy to Calayo, Batangas

Children and families in Calayo, Batangas received medical, dental, and nutrition support during a community outreach activity conducted by the University of the East in partnership with the Rotary Club of Empowered Leaders.

The program formed part of the celebration of Children’s Day and Nutrition Month. Young participants took part in a costume presentation and mini fashion show, giving them an opportunity to enjoy the day, express themselves, and share their creativity with the community.

Medical and dental professionals also provided free services to residents. These services made basic healthcare more accessible to children and families in the area.

The activity marked the completion of UE’s 120-Day Milk-Giving Project, which provided regular milk support to selected children for four months. The project was led by CBA Dean Dr. Rosalinda Lacerona, Department Chair Christian Agub, and the CBA-SOCI Chairman, with the guidance of OECO Director Dr. Roger Espiritu.

The University expresses its appreciation to Hon. Arnold Limeta and Ma’am Filipinas Ballesteros for welcoming the UE delegation. We also thank Rotary Club of Empowered Leaders President Migs Bermido, Madam PDG Mildred Vitangcol, the healthcare teams, volunteers, faculty members, and community partners who helped carry out the program.

Although heavy rain accompanied the activity, the program continued as planned. The children’s participation and enthusiasm gave the volunteers more than enough reason to keep serving.

Through partnerships such as this, UE continues to bring its academic community closer to communities that can benefit from sustained health, nutrition, and educational initiatives.

CBA Manila opens AY 2026–2027 with Faculty General Assembly

The College of Business Administration–Manila held its Faculty General Assembly on July 23, 2026, bringing together college officials, faculty members, invited speakers, retired educators, and newly appointed faculty as the College prepared for the new academic year.

Guided by the theme “CBA Manila: One Vision, One Unified Faculty, One Commitment to Student Success,” the assembly provided an opportunity to discuss academic priorities, strengthen faculty coordination, and reaffirm the College’s shared responsibility in supporting its students.

The College extends its appreciation to Dr. Darwin M. Guianan and Dr. Dianne G. Rodriguez for sharing their knowledge and insights with the faculty. CBA Manila also recognizes its retired faculty members for their years of service and warmly welcomes the new educators joining the College.

Congratulations as well to all the Outstanding Teachers who were recognized during the assembly. Your dedication to teaching, service, and student development is sincerely appreciated. Your recognition reflects the effort and responsibility you continue to bring to the academic community. Also, congrats to all UE CBA Student council.
