In view of the announced transport strikes by PISTON and Manibela, the University is implementing the following schedules:

Basic Education (Preschool–SHS):
• September 28 (Mon.) - Online synchronous (due to strike)
• September 29 (Tue.) - Online synchronous (due to strike)

College:
• September 28 (Mon.) - Online synchronous (as scheduled)
• September 29 (Tue.) - Online synchronous (as scheduled)

Should the announced transport strike proceed on September 30, 2026 (Activity Day), scheduled activities may be conducted online, where feasible. Otherwise, they may be rescheduled to the immediately following Saturday in accordance with VPAA Memo No. 39, S. 2026, “Guidelines on the Conduct of Activity Day,” and subject to its applicable provisions. For classes scheduled on the same day, the online synchronous modality shall be observed.

Onsite office operations will proceed as usual.

As transportation remained accessible despite today’s transport strike , please be advised that face-to-face/ onsite classes will resume tomorrow, Tuesday, September 15, 2026.

In addition, classes previously scheduled online for September 17,18, and 19, 2026 will also be conducted onsite.

This adjustment is made to accommodate the rescheduled Preliminary Examinations and to make up for laboratory classes following recent suspensions due to the enhanced Southwest Monsoon .

Following the announcement from Malacañang Palace, work from home arrangements will be adopted by all offices today, Thursday, September 10, 2026. The campus will be closed and there will be no onsite transactions.

Online synchronous classes for all levels will continue to ensure the safety of our students amid the persistent monsoon rains. Scheduled examinations will be moved to a later date

Please be reminded that the 1st Quarterly Examinations for Preschool to Junior High School and the Midterm Examinations for Senior High School remain unchanged and will proceed as scheduled on September 2 –4, 2026 (Wednesday–Friday).

In view of the current haze conditions, students and teachers are highly encouraged to wear face masks as a precautionary health measure.

Should there be any subsequent official directive affecting the examination schedule, the Basic Education Department shall issue the necessary announcement.
