The request of TUP Manila University Student Government, together with the Office of Student Affairs and Head of Civil Security Office, for the ๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฌ ๐ข๐ก ๐ง๐๐ ๐๐๐ฆ๐ ๐ข๐ก ๐จ๐ก๐๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ , ๐๐๐๐ฅ, ๐๐ก๐ ๐๐ฅ๐๐ฆ๐ฆ ๐๐ข๐๐ ๐ฃ๐ข๐๐๐๐ฌ ๐๐ข๐ฅ ๐ง๐๐ ๐ฎ๐ก๐ ๐ฆ๐๐ ๐๐ฆ๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐.๐ฌ. ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฎ-๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฏ has been approved in line with the existing hair and dress code policy indicated at the ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฏ ๐ง๐จ๐ฃ ๐ฆ๐๐๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ๐ฏ๐ผ๐ผ๐ธ. The following eased guidelines hereby follows.
๐ ๐จ๐ก๐๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ ๐ฆ ๐๐ก๐ ๐๐ฅ๐๐ฆ๐ฆ ๐๐ข๐๐
1. Effective ๐๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ถ๐น ๐ญ๐ญ, ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฏ, ๐๐๐ ๐ฏ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฒ ๐ง๐จ๐ฃ ๐๐๐๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ who will be entering the University premises should be in their ๐ผ๐ณ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ป๐ถ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ๐บ except on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
2. Students should purchase their uniforms only from the provider/s allowed by the University (Baro and ELP). The ๐ผ๐ณ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ป๐ถ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ๐บ ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ ๐ง๐จ๐ฃ ๐๐ฐ๐ต๐ผ๐ผ๐น ๐น๐ผ๐ด๐ผ which is IPO-registered.
3. Wearing of ๐ผ๐ณ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ป๐ถ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ๐บ ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ ๐ง๐จ๐ฃ ๐๐ฐ๐ต๐ผ๐ผ๐น ๐น๐ผ๐ด๐ผ shall be based on ๐ฆ๐ข๐๐๐ (๐ฆ๐ฒ๐
๐๐ฎ๐น ๐ข๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ถ๐๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐
๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป) such as the following:
3.1 Female gender-based students shall wear the blouse.
3.2 Male gender-based students shall wear the polo and black shoes with black socks while wearing the official uniform.
3.3 Students who are members of LGBTQIA++ community may wear their ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ณ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ผ๐ณ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ป๐ถ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ๐บ based on their gender identity and expression.
4. On Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, students are allowed to enter the university wearing casual attires provided that they shall comply to the following parameters.

4.1 Students shall not wear shorts, open footwears, sleeveless shirts, piercings, and crop tops for all gender-based casual attires.
4.2 For female gender-based attire, pencil cuts and dress are allowed provided that the hem must not be shorten to above the knee.
4.3 Male gender-based students shall not wear earrings.
5. 4th year students who are on their On-the-Job Training Program may enter the University in their College/Organization Shirt, company uniforms, and casual attires complying to the ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐บ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ ๐ผ๐ป ๐ช๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ฎ๐น ๐๐๐๐ถ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐.
๐ ๐ช๐๐ฆ๐ ๐๐๐ฌ๐ฆ
Students may come to school in casual attires befitting a university student and complying the above-mentioned ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐บ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ ๐ผ๐ป ๐ช๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ฎ๐น ๐๐๐๐ถ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ on Wednesdays, Saturdays, Sundays โ the wash days.
๐ ๐๐๐๐ฅ๐๐จ๐ง
1. ALL bonafide TUP students, regardless of their gender identity and expression, shall sport the following ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐บ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐ต๐ฎ๐ถ๐ฟ๐ฐ๐๐ when entering the university premises:

1.1 Students shall sport clean and decent hairstyle when entering the university premises.
1.2 Male gender-based students with hair-length below shoulder should be tied back into a neat ponytail.
1.3 Hair in front of the face should not cover the eyes. Students should brush up their hair if hair will cover the face.
1.4 Students are not allowed to have a line haircut.
2. ALL bonafide TUP students are not allowed to have their hair dyed.
