The Benilde Culture and Arts Unit (BCAU) is a formation office for Benildean student-artists who are viewed as life-long learners committed to the pursuit of artistic growth and innovation. We seek to uplift Filipino culture and traditions in the general community through the promotion of the arts. BCAU develops programs and project initiatives that give students the opportunity to participate in and experience arts and culture in the College community during the school year.

STAR (Summer Training and Artist Recruitment) is an annual workshop that offers the Br. Raphael Donato Grant (BRDG) for upcoming frosh and equips student-artists with knowledge and skills in line with the artist groups of the Benilde Culture and Arts Unit.

The Br. Raphael Donato Grant (BRDG) is processed through participating in STAR Workshops 2026. STAR Workshops determines if participants are eligible for the grant through performance and evaluation within the workshops.
