🌟 Tara, Basa! Tutoring Program: PUP COED as Literacy Champions 🌟

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), in partnership with the Department of Education (DepEd) and the PUP College of Education, proudly continues the journey of empowering young minds through the third implementation of the Tara, Basa! Tutoring Program 2026.

Our COED students are once again stepping up as Learning Facilitators and Youth Development Workers, while COED officials and faculty members ensure the smooth monitoring of this flagship initiative. More than just a program, this is a heartfelt outreach activity of the college, bringing education closer to the community.

As a holistic program, the Tara, Basa! not only supports PUP COED students financially but also strengthens their role as catalysts of change. At its core, this program provides vital reading intervention for struggling readers in DepEd schools — proving that literacy is the foundation of brighter futures.
