The 𝐔𝐏 𝐀𝐥𝐩𝐡𝐚 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐦𝐚 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 proudly congratulates 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐝 𝐅𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐌. 𝐏𝐞𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐬𝐚 ‘𝟖𝟔-𝐃 on his appointment as the Department of National Defense’s 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐲𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲.
A distinguished member of the fraternity since 1986, Brod Fabbie has exemplified leadership and service throughout his illustrious career in the Armed Forces of the Philippines. With over three decades of dedicated service, he served as the Commander of the Strategic Command, as well as the Commander of the Air Defense Command of the Philippine Air Force. Prior to these roles, he held key leadership positions including Chief of Staff of the Philippine Air Force (2022), Wing Commander of the 580th Aircraft Control and Warning Wing (2021), and the 5th Fighter Wing (2017).
A proud member of the Philippine Military Academy “MAAALAB” Class of 1993, he began his military career with distinction, graduating at the top of his Undergraduate Pilot Training and earning the Secretary of National Defence Award at the Philippine Air Force Flying School. He further pursued advanced studies, obtaining his Master’s Degree in Management from the Asian Institute of Management and a Master’s in Public Administration from the Development Academy of the Philippines.
His exemplary service has been recognized through numerous awards and commendations, including the Order of Lapu-Lapu, Distinguished Service Star, Distinguished Aviation Cross, Silver Cross, Meritorious Achievement Medal, and the Distinguished Service Medal, among others.
His leadership in integrating advanced systems and strengthening national defense capabilities continues to reflect his commitment to excellence and nation-building.
His appointment brings honor, pride, and distinction to the fraternity, and the country as a whole.
