“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called the children of God.” - Matthew 5:9

Today, let’s take a moment to remember that peace can start with the simplest things: being kind, choosing to forgive, and taking the time to understand others.

May we continue to choose peace, even when life feels like a storm we cannot control.

We may not be able to change the world overnight, but we can start with the people around us. All it takes is a decision and an action. Let’s start with us.

Some parts of history are too important to simply be left in the past.

September 21 reminds us of the declaration of Martial Law under
Proclamation No. 1081 during the presidency of Ferdinand Marcos Sr. It was a period that deeply affected many Filipino lives, leaving behind stories of fear, injustice, loss, and resistance that continue to be remembered today.

Remembering this part of our history is not just about knowing the date or memorizing what happened. It is about recognizing the people behind those events-the families who were affected, the voices that were silenced, and the Filipinos who continued to stand up despite the circumstances they faced.

History gives us something to carry forward: the responsibility to remember, to learn, and to value the freedoms that we have today.

What happened before us may already been part of the past, but its lessons still matter to the present.

Some stories should be remembered precisely because they should never become forgotten.

"Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." — Ephesians 4:32

Kindness is a gift God gave to each and every one of us. It is meant for us to share it with people we are not only familiar with, but for those in need as well.

Forgiving is an act of compassion that holds us together. Yet it may seem difficult to forgive others of their wrongdoings against us, the act itself nurtures our inner selves to show understanding.

We do not know the hardships other people have gone through in their individual and respective lives, yet it still does not hurt to extend a kind and loving hand for those in need. Spread love, compassion and forgiveness. As we are brothers and sisters who will forevermore support each other’s growth and happiness as a loving family under God’s eternal loving care.

Do everything from the heart. ❤️

Let your words carry kindness, let your actions show love, and let everything you do come from a place of sincerity. May you always choose to act with grace, kindness, and love.

Because the things we do with a sincere heart are the ones that truly matter.
