Global logistics leader UPS partnered with Benilde Multimedia Arts students to bring Filipino design and culture to the world by reimagining the iconic UPS Express Envelope.

Out of nearly 400 entries, the Top 30 designs were showcased at the Ayala Museum, with three theme category champions taking top honors:

* Grand Prize & "Clark Rising" Winner: Lauren Kerby Obaldo ("Haraya sa Kalsada")

* "Roots of Progress" Winner: Aleana Szobelle P. Lallamant ("Started From the Bottom Now We’re Here!")

* "Galaw ng Bayan" Winner: Jana Lois D. Oliveros ("Reach for the Waves")

The awarding ceremony was held last August 25, 2026 at the Ayala Museum, as well.

Congratulations to all Multimedia Arts students who participated in the competition and especially to Lauren Kerby whose design will soon travel across international borders on official UPS envelopes worldwide as UPS prepares to launch its new Clark hub.

"De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde film graduate Diana Galang took home first place in the Narrative Category of the 38th CCP Gawad Alternatibo for her short film City’s Laundry and Taxes.

"Other Benildean filmmakers also made it as finalists, with Balai de Moño and Sa’n Elmo: A Musical Short Film showcasing diverse stories and perspectives from the Philippines."

24 August 2026 — Benilde’s inbound international students spent a day at Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Quezon City for their acculturation activity.

Surrounded by classic Spanish-Filipino architecture elements, the international students shared stories, and explored the country’s rich heritage, history, and culture.

Through Benilde Global, the College provides exchange students with the opportunities to broaden their global perspectives, and immerse in diverse cultures, as they study and build life long friendships along the way!
