A VERY EFFECTIVE/non-destructive WAY OF REMOVING THE BACKGROUND

1)duplicate the layer of the photo (ctrl+j)
2)hide the original layer (click the eyeball to make it invisible)
3)find the mask button just like you see in the video
4)using the brush tool paint with BLACK everything that you wanted to be invisible.
5)create a new layer and put it below all layers. DECORATE it all you want.

*in case you made a mistake (missing ear or something)
click the layer mask again and paint it WHITE.
