The UP Manila Debate Circle congratulates its representatives for their outstanding performances at the recently concluded Manila Intervarsity XIV 2026, hosted by the UPMDC itself and held on April 25 โ€“ 26, 2026.

๐Ÿ”ฅTheo Jan Isaac, Marion Manalo, and Raffy Perez were the 8th Open Breaking Team, ending their run as Open Quarterfinalists. Marion Manalo was awarded the 8th Best Dr. Elmer Cruz Cup Speaker.

๐Ÿ”ฅ Verse Abellaneda served as a member of the Core Adjudication Panel for the tournament.

The UP Manila Debate Circle congratulates its representatives for their outstanding performances at the recently concluded Baguio AP.

It was hosted by the Baguio City High School and held on February 21 - 22, 2026.

๐Ÿ”ฅ Ram Julius Marababol, Marco Rafael Macalintal, and Marion Manalo were the 13th Breaking Team, ending their run as Open Octofinalists. Ram Marababol was awarded as the 8th Best Open Speaker, while Marco Macalintal and Marion Manalo were awarded as the 2nd Best Novice Speakers.

The UP Manila Debate Circle congratulates its representatives for their outstanding performances at the recently concluded Lampara Debate Open 2026, held on March 14 - 15, 2026.

๐Ÿ”ฅ Czerina Garcia, Veronica Guinto, and Jose Antonio Ursua were the 4th Open Breaking Team, ending their run as the Open Grand Champions. Czerina concluded the Tournament as Finals Best Speaker and Overall Open Best Speaker. Veronica (Nica) and Jose Antonio (Bam) were tied for 2nd Open Best speaker.

๐Ÿ”ฅJamie Antonio, Charlene Mendoza, and Ericka Rafil were the 6th Open Breaking Team and ending their run as Open Semifinalists.

๐Ÿ”ฅAnelle Bagano, Franc Iverdre Gonzaga, and Rhiven La Guardia were the 8th Open Breaking Team and ended their run as Open Quarterfinalists.

๐Ÿ”ฅMarco Rafael Macalintal broke as an adjudicator, ending his run as the Novice Quarterfinals Chair.

๐Ÿ”ฅ Jean Navidad adjudicated some of the preliminary rounds.

It was hosted by Far Eastern University - Dr. Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation and held on February 7-8, 2026.

๐Ÿ”ฅ Trisha Justine Battung, Verse Abellaneda, and Veronica Guinto were the Grand Champions of the tournament and broke was the tournamentโ€™s top break. Verse Abellaneda was the Finals Best Speaker and Overall Best Speaker, while Veronica Guinto was the 3rd Best Speaker.
