𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧: 𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗧𝗣𝗢𝗡𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗢𝗙 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗗𝗨𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗟𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗪𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥

In the interest of everyone's safety, please be informed that we are postponing the DUNLAYA: 2026 Best Architecture Thesis Recognition and Awarding Ceremony, originally scheduled for August 22, 2026. This decision was made due to the ongoing heavy rainfall and unfavorable weather conditions.

The safety and well-being of all students, faculty members, guests, and participants remain our highest priority.

We are actively working to secure a new date for the ceremony and will provide updates once the details have been finalized.

From being named Top 1 Best Architecture Thesis to inspiring the next generation of architecture students—𝗔𝗿. 𝗔𝗻𝗻 𝗖𝘆𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗹 joins us as a distinguished guest speaker for DUNLAYA: Top Architecture Theses and Research Awarding Exhibit 2026.

A graduate of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines – College of Architecture, Design and the Built Environment, Ar. Corporal was a consistent Dean’s Lister. She also placed Top 6 in the department's Architecture Qualifying Examination (AQE). During her time, she was recognized as the Top 1 Best Architecture Thesis Awardee in 2021 for her thesis, “𝘉𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘤 𝘔𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴 𝘝𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘢𝘨𝘦: 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘔𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘏𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘊𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘋𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘵 𝘈𝘥𝘢𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘈𝘳𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘗𝘰𝘴𝘵-𝘔𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘙𝘦𝘩𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯.”

Beyond her academic achievements, she has been actively involved in the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) and is currently pursuing her professional practice of architecture at KUBO Architects.

Having once stood exactly where this year’s awardees stand, her journey reminds us that every thesis is more than a requirement—it is a testament to curiosity, persistence, and the courage to imagine better possibilities through architecture.
