Ang Tinig na Hindi Napatahimik: Ika-43 Taon ng Agosto 21

Apatnapu't tatlong taon na ang nakalipas mula noong Agosto 21, 1983. Isang tinig ang pinilit patahimikin, ngunit sa kabalintunaan ng kasaysayan, doon pa lamang nagsimulang lumakas ang tinig na iyon.

Bumalik si Ninoy Aquino sa bansa habang alam ang panganib na kaniyang sinasalubong. Hindi siya nagbalik dahil siguradong ligtas kundi dahil pinaniwalaan niyang may bagay na higit pa sa buhay ang nakataya, ang karapatan ng bawat Pilipino na magtanong, magsalita, at pumili.

Ngayong 2026, iba na ang hugis ng laban. Ang pagiging matapang sa panahong ito ay hindi laging pagsigaw sa lansangan. Kadalasan, ito ay ang mahinahon ngunit matiyagang paghahanap ng katotohanan at ang hindi pagpayag na gawing propaganda ang kasaysayan.

Ang pagiging iskolar ng bayan ay may kaakibat na tungkulin na hindi natatapos sa loob ng silid-aralan. Ito ang tungkuling mag-isip nang malinaw, magsalita nang may batayan, at manindigan nang hindi natitinag.

Sa paggunita natin ng araw na ito, nawa'y hindi lamang ito maging araw ng pahinga kundi araw ng pagsusuri. Sa ano ba tayo tumatahimik at kailan tayo dapat magsalita?

Attention, Knights!

Due to the ongoing Habagat (Southwest Monsoon), several parts of Metro Manila are currently experiencing heavy rainfall and flooding, affecting communities and students in different areas.

With this, the CE-SC is encouraging everyone to fill out the form to help us identify the number of students who may have been affected or displaced by the flooding.

Please accomplish the form if you are currently affected by the flooding, experiencing difficulty in accessing your home, or have incurred losses due to the incident. If you know a fellow Knight who has been affected, you may also accomplish the form on their behalf. The information gathered will help us assess the situation and determine the necessary assistance that may be provided.

The form also includes an option for those who wish to extend monetary or in-kind donations to students and families who may need assistance. Any amount or form of support will be greatly appreciated.

Let us continue to look after one another, especially during these difficult times.
