Thank you for expressing your concern.
If you must know, the dissemination of information to the block presidents is the main function of a batch rep and the projects/ events that you may not have experienced are due to the schedule of classes so there is a small chance for the batch to be fully united/ all together because of academics.
All the officers are doing their best to make the Biology students be proud of their course, if you see the effort of Biosoc members and officers have put (eg. winning palarong agham, science week, all the outreach activities ++) you will see that Biology Society is amazing and is composed of hardworking people I consider my family. If I am the person you are referring to, I just want you to know that I am still grateful to have been given this chance and opportunity to serve you and the rest of the batch and I apologize if ever you do not "feel" that I am doing my job. Pls let me know right away what your concerns are (esp if it is concerning Bio activities/orders) so I can work on it right away

All announcements and information are disseminated to the block presidents and officers for the second year students. This has and still is being practiced when it comes to important events, including science week, field trips and the like. Moreover, posts are made every now and then regarding upcoming events, though again, priority is the announcing and relaying of information to the officers of the batch. Meetings are conducted when called for, and fortunately the officers in the batch are cooperative in doing so. This goes to show that an effort is done when it comes to the responsibility of disseminating information, though we appreciate the concern and will do our best to improve the quality of service that you seek.

I would like to comment on the feedback regarding the transparency of officers. With all due respect, we appreciate the feedback given however there are a few points in which has to be run through in order for better understanding. There's a system into which information is disseminated. Two of which are through the block presidents & class officers and through the batch page on facebook. Upcoming events and announcements are updated mostly on the batch page and relaying of information is upon each block's president. Meetings are held monthly to assess progress and assure completion of tasks. If there's a chance you feel like we don't do our job, or if I didn't take or play my part as your batch representative, please address your concern directly to me. I would in all honesty be grateful to help make better the Biology Society. Also, if there's any way we can improve our service to our fellow biologists, please don't hesitate and please let us know. I genuinely appreciate the feedback and I would like to apologize for causing disappointment. Will surely seek improvement not only in this but also in all other aspects.

I believe that from my end, I have done what I can because first, I host an officers meeting every month (from the month of August to April ) where I disseminate all the necessary information with regards to both Biosoc and non Biosoc related announcements. Also, I always post in our officer's page, where all officers from the President to PRO are a part of and I make GMs to the President, Vice President and PRO when it comes to more urgent matters. However, if you do feel I can do a more effective job, please let me through your class officers and they will inform me about your suggestion/s. If I failed to do my job as your batch representative then I would like to make an apology and will promise to do a better job for the remainder of this semester.
