In line with the University's tradition of nurturing faith and community, we warmly invite everyone to attend the Monthly Mass at the Architecture AVR.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗵𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁.

The monuments of the Martial Law Era remain woven into our cities, shaped by aspirations of progress and Filipino identity, yet inseparable from the political realities and injustices of their time.

Every structure carries the circumstances of its making, and every generation thereafter has the responsibility to look beyond what stands and remember what stood behind it.

As future Thomasian architects, the UST CASC recognizes that remembrance is our responsibility: to understand what came before, question what it left behind, and create places that move society forward where progress does not come at the cost of justice.

Furthermore, administering synchronous assessments and submissions on the same day of the recollection is highly discouraged, to allow students to focus on the spiritual objectives of the activity.

RE: Preliminary Examination Schedule of General Education and Technical Courses, First Term AY 2026 - 2027

ATTENTION ARCHITECTURE COMMUNITY:

As specified in ME04: Dates and Deadlines to Remember – 1st Term, AY 2026-2027 dated 08 August 2026, the Preliminary Examinations for the First Term, AY 2026-2027 will be conducted ONSITE on the following schedule:

General Education - 28 September to 03 October 2026 (Monday to Saturday) during class hours

Technical Courses - 06 to 13 October 2026 (Tuesday to Tuesday)

Please also take note of the following schedules, which fall within the College’s declared Preliminary Examination Weeks:

05 October 2026 (Monday) - Examination preparation; Submission/s of student works that were previously postponed may be set by course facilitators during this day.

14-17 October 2026 (Wednesday to Saturday) - These dates are allotted for:

a. Contingency Days: For the rescheduling of preliminary examinations in case of class suspensions.

b. Integration Period for Academic Staff: Checking of examinations and student works; Submission of requirements may be accommodated with the approval of the Cluster Coordinator.

c. Make-up Classes for Assessments: Conduct of postponed assessment tasks covered by the preliminary period.

d. Advanced Classes: May be used for advanced lessons, as deemed necessary by the course facilitator.

e. General Education Preliminary Examinations: For GenEd courses affected by class suspensions and unable to conduct their scheduled preliminary examinations.

f. Organization Activities: May be held if no preliminary examinations are rescheduled in this period.
