📚 [SPECIAL CLASS ENROLLMENT] 👨‍🏫

Need a special class this term? Applications are now open!

Special class enrollment for both undergraduate and graduate studies are open from August 27 – September 5, 2026 (8:00 PM).

Scan the QR Code on the pubmat below or go to bit(dot)ly/UG_Special_Class_CLA and complete the Google Form indicating the special class you wish to enroll in. The form must be accessed and submitted using your DLSU email account.

📋 GUIDELINES

1. Applications will be evaluated by the College of Liberal Arts (CLA) and the Department of International Studies (DIS) from September 07- 19, 2026 (08:00 PM).

2. The College will inform students of the decision regarding their Application for Special Class no later than September 19, 2026.

3. Upon approval, the revised EAF may be downloaded, or will be available no later than September 20, 2026.

4. For inquiries or follow-ups, submit a service request ticket through ArchersHub under the CLA service department: CLA – Enrollment Records Concern.

OTHER REMINDERS:
✓ Students must have no outstanding clearances with any office.
✓ Students are required to confirm your enrollment in your other courses.
✓ Payment for enrolled courses must be made online by the prescribed deadline to avoid surcharges.
✓ Incomplete applications will not be processed. Please ensure that all requirements are complete before submission.

🏆 CALL FOR BEST THESIS AWARD NOMINATIONS 📝

The DIS is now accepting nominations for the Best Thesis Award, recognizing outstanding undergraduate research that demonstrates academic excellence and contributes meaningful perspectives to the field of International Studies.

GUIDELINES:
1. Any Thesis 2 group with a final grade of 4.0 is eligible for nomination.
2. Only Thesis 2 mentors are allowed to nominate eligible groups.
3. Nominations must be submitted through the official Google Form.
4. The list of nominees will be made public.
5. The Department of International Studies will appoint a faculty member as the Designated Assessor to evaluate the submissions. The decision of the Assessor is final, and no appeal will be entertained.

📅 Deadline for Nominations: September 2, 2026
🏅 Announcement of Winner: September 16, 2026

📢 Call for Papers: Peace, Prosperity, and Possibilities 🇵🇭🇯🇵

⏳ Only 10 days left before the submission deadline!

Open to all academic institutions, the Department of International Studies invites undergraduate and graduate students to submit paper proposals for a student conference exploring the past, present, and future of one of the Philippines’ most important international partnerships.

Under the theme “Peace, Prosperity, and Possibilities,” we welcome research on diplomacy, security, economic cooperation, migration, culture, language, education, sustainability, regional affairs, and other dimensions of Philippines–Japan relations.

📝 Submission Requirements
Proposals (maximum 400 words) should include:
• Research problem and objectives
• Research design and methods
• Major findings or expected trends
• Tentative conclusions
