We are thrilled to welcome the graduating class of 2026 into the UST Thomasian Alumni Leaders Association (TALA)! 🎓✨

Held during the Student LEAD (Leadership, Excellence and Dedication) Awards 2026, officers from various student organizations of the University were led in a solemn oath-taking and pinning ceremony, symbolizing their transition from student leaders to the next generation of trailblazers. The whole event was organized by the UST Office of Student Affairs (OSA) on July 11 at the Auditorium of the St. Pier Giorgio Frassati, O.P. Building.

Together, let us continue to inspire and lead with purpose! 💛

In the immediate aftermath of the earthquake in Mindanao, UST TALA, through its Chairperson Ms. Angie Tuazon, coordinated the distribution of the first batch of food relief to impacted families in GENSAN. This rapid response was further supported by local friends in GENSAN, with the assistance and connections of Dr. Ryan Aplicador, the former VP of UST TALA.

We are grateful to our kind donors for their immediate contributions, namely: UST TALA (Thomasian Alumni Leaders Association) - Chairperson Angie Tuazon and President Judge Froilan Pitpit; UST Alumni Association, Inc.- President Evangeline Timbang; Thomasian Alumni Community Foundation, Inc. (TACFI); Megaforce Security Services; TSAC (Torre Sobremonte Associates and Company) - Kathie Sobremonte, Jennifer Sobremonte, and Merilyn Torre.

We extend our gratitude to all who placed their trust in us to assist our less fortunate brothers and sisters in the South. Currently, food assistance is our primary focus. Stores are not operational. ATMs are functional. Certain regions are experiencing power outages. Further updates will be provided.

Let us all lend our support in any way we can. 🙏💛
