🔒 BENILDEAN OPERATION SAGIP (For Typhoon Maymay) IS NOW CLOSED

We are officially closing the call for cash donations for Benildean Operation Sagip.

A huge and heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed, shared our posts, and extended their support to our fellow Benildeans and partner communities affected by typhoon Maymay and the Habagat-caused rains.

Thanks to your incredible generosity, we closed our drive as of 25 August 2026 with a total of PHP 34,564.19, providing 67 food packs to families in need.

We are now moving forward with the preparation and distribution of these relief packs. We will keep you updated on the deployment of your donations. Thank you for always embodying the true spirit of community and social responsibility! 💚

A huge thank you to everyone who has extended their support so far! As of 19 August 2026, our collective efforts have raised a total of PHP 25,950.25 via GCash.

This total is already good for 50 food packs that will be distributed to Benildeans and partner communities affected by typhoon Maymay and the Habagat-caused rains.

But our mission doesn't stop here—we still have 100 food packs more to go to reach our target!

A Prayer for Peace and Healing 🕊️

In light of the recent acts of violence affecting our communities, we pause to pray for our students, educators, families, and all those who are grieving, hurting, or carrying fear in their hearts.

Through the intercession of St. John Baptist de La Salle, may our schools remain places of safety, belonging, compassion, and hope. May we learn to listen, accompany, and care for one another, especially those who may be silently struggling.

May we choose peace over fear, compassion over indifference, and life over violence.

Let us pray for healing, for protection, and for the courage to build communities where every young person feels seen, heard, valued, and loved.

St. John Baptist de La Salle, Patron of Teachers, pray for us.

Live Jesus in our hearts. Forever. 🙏🕊️

In the wake of Typhoon Maymay and the heavy rains caused by the Habagat, many of our fellow Benildeans and partner communities are facing tough times. The Center for Social Action is activating to provide relief, and we need your help.

For every Php 510.00 donated, we can provide one (1) full food pack containing:
▪️ 1 bottled water (500ml)
▪️ 4 cans of corned beef
▪️ 3 cans of sardines
▪️ 3 packs of instant noodles
▪️ 3 kg of rice

How to help:

The Paghilom sa Pagkain Cook-Off 2026 was a huge success! Our talented cooks truly brought their A-game, crafting delicious, eco-friendly, "Farm-to-Table" dishes that proved healthy eating and environmental protection go hand-in-hand. In line with this year’s theme, “Nutrisyon at Kalikasan Ating Pangalagaan!”, everyone showed us what it truly means to nourish both our families and our planet. 💚🏆

A massive congratulations to our top culinary champions:

🥈 1st Runner-Up: Our Lady of Sorrows Outreach Foundation, Inc. (OLSOFI)
🥉 2nd Runner-Up: Benilde Center for Built Environment and Logistics (CBEL) Housekeeping Agency Personnel

and to the Benilde - Center for Emergency Management, Safety and Security (CEMSS), Unbound Manila Foundation Inc., Barangay 48 Pasay City, and Barangay 733 Manila City for participating.
