The ASEAN Student Experiential Mobility Programme (ASEMO @ UUM 2026) is a short-term, hybrid leadership and academic mobility initiative hosted by Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) through its Centre for International Affairs and Cooperation (CIAC). Centered around the theme "Empowering ASEAN Youth Leaders: AI, Innovation & Sustainability," the program brings together university students across ASEAN member countries to build cross-border networks, develop practical leadership skills, and tackle real-world regional challenges.
The DLSU students of the team "Change Makers 2" won the ASEAN Future Leadership Excellence Award. They were qualified to compete against the top teams from all other challenge tracks, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Innovation & Entrepreneurship, and Sustainability.
In the final stage of the challenge, the team delivered an exceptional performance, ultimately emerging as the best overall for their presentation and policy recommendations. Their success on this international platform at Universiti Utara Malaysia reflects the high caliber of Lasallian student leadership. The other Change Makers 2 team members who received the award were Fransiska Doranti, Darmianti, Ramadani Arosad, Nayla Hanum Sayyidina, and Athifah Tiara Akhsan.
