CTHM Alumni Reconnect in Vibrant ‘Piyesta x Perya’ Homecoming
MANILA, Philippines — The College of Tourism and Hospitality Management (CTHM) brought together batches of graduates for a memorable gathering on October 10, 2026, held at the Function Room on the 7th floor of the NU Main Building.
Embracing the festive theme “Piyesta x Perya,” the Alumni Homecoming was more than just a reunion—it was a joyous celebration of shared journeys, achievements, and the enduring bonds created throughout the years at National University. The event was successfully initiated and organized by Sumirra Event Productions, handled by Ms. Jenny Ann B. De Guzman. Under their coordination, alumni across various graduating classes reconnected with old friends, met fellow industry professionals, and reminisced about the defining moments of their college days.
The special occasion was highlighted by the presence of key university leaders and distinguished guests, including Ms. Medelene L. Forbes, Dean of CTHM, alongside Engr. Felimon Antiporta, President of the National University Alumni Federation Inc. (NUAFI), and Engr. Rey Ancheta, Executive Vice President of NUAFI. Also giving their full support to the event were Ms. Marichu Alvarez, Program Chair of Hospitality Management, and Mr. Christopher Manlapaz, Program Chair of Tourism Management.
Adding to the warm atmosphere, CTHM Alumni Coordinators Ms. Irene Francia and Ms. Ma. Gina Fabros were also in attendance to welcome returning graduates. The collective presence of faculty, administration, and alumni leaders underscored the college's continued commitment to nurturing lifelong ties within its community.
Beyond the festivities, the homecoming served as a reminder of the legacy and unity that define every CTHM graduate. As alumni look ahead to their professional paths, the event renewed their commitment to carrying the core values of excellence, passion, service, and hospitality into every endeavor.
No matter where life takes them, the event reaffirmed one timeless truth: once a CTHM student, always a proud CTHM alumnus!
