[MSCCTF: EA PROPOSES A 6.6% TFI]

JUST IN: The Employee Association (EA) has proposed a 6.6% tuition fee increase for AY 2026-2027 at the first convening of the Multi-Sectoral Consultative Committee on Tuition Fees (MSCCTF).

This proposal is still subject to discussion after all sectors have presented their proposals.

The University Student Government (USG), the Parents of University Students Organization (PUSO), and the Administration are set to present their proposal on January 21, 28, and February 4, respectively.

This proposal does not reflect the USG's proposal. The USG remains steadfast in its fight for a 0% tuition fee increase.
