ledge, tools, and methods required to make decisions and to shape policies, to design engineering systems, and to solve operational problems associated with the information-intensive, technology-based economy. VISION
The Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management program is envisioned to be one of the excellent master’s program in the country, integrating technology and math-ematics with economy and management. MISSION
The program is designed to produce graduates with a unique ability, based on a sound technological-mathematical foundation, to model, analyze, solve, and communicate complex cross-disciplinary problems of technical, economical and organizational nature, with the purpose of developing industrial enterprises. Objectives
- To provide advanced training in formulating systems development, methods engineering and quality management
- To enhance skills in applying quantitative ap-proaches in the production/service environment
- To develop the capability to employ information technology in business decision-making
- To advance the acquisition of skills in the use of statistical tools and techniques in research
- To enhance competencies and leadership for exten-sion and community services
