The APTS is an organization that will represent and unite the physical therapy students of UP CAMP. The APTS aims to:
1.

Foster camaraderie between the UP Physical Therapy students;
2. Promote social awareness among UP Physical Therapy students through various projects and activities;
3. Provide holistic assistance to UP Physical Therapy students;
4. Promote the importance of health and wellness among the students of the university;
5. Be a bridge between UP Physical Therapy students and other physical therapy students nationwide; and
6. Promote Physical Therapy as a noble and distinguished profession.

HUSTISYA PARA KAY ALYSSA ALANO!

CAMP Organizations Unity Statement

Mariing kinukundena ng konseho ng mga mag-aaral at mga organisasyon ng CAMP ang brutal at hindi makatarungang pagpaslang kay Alyssa Alano, isang Iskolar ng Bayan, lider-estudyante, at lingkod ng mamamayan, at kasama ng iba pang sibilyang walang kalaban-laban sa Negros. Ang bawat buhay na kinitil ay hindi lamang numero sa talaan, kundi isang anak, kapatid, magulang, at bahagi ng sambayanang Pilipino na may karapatang mabuhay nang may dignidad at seguridad.

Si Alyssa ay kilala sa kanyang dedikasyon sa paglilingkod sa taumbayan at pakikiisa sa laban ng bawat Pilipino. Pinili niyang makisalamuha at makipamuhay sa hanay ng mga magsasaka upang higit na maunawaan ang kanilang kalagayan at ipaglaban ang kanilang karapatan. Ngunit sa halip na kilalanin ang kanyang layunin, siya ay naging biktima ng dahas.

Ang patuloy na militarisasyon sa kanayunan, partikular sa Negros, ay nagdudulot ng takot, sapilitang paglikas, at pagkawala ng buhay ng mga inosenteng mamamayan. Sa iba’t ibang panig ng bansa, patuloy ang pagdanak ng dugo dulot ng karahasan, militarisasyon, at kawalan ng pananagutan. Sa halip na protektahan ang mamamayan, nagiging instrumento pa ang ilang pwersa ng estado sa pananakot, panunupil, at paglabag sa karapatang pantao. Habang nananatiling walang pananagutan ang mga salarin, lalong tumitindi ang kawalan ng hustisya.

Hindi lamang si Alyssa ang nawalan ng buhay—kasama niya ang 18 na Pilipinong pinaslang nang walang laban.

Naninindigan kami na ang tunay na kapayapaan ay hindi makakamit sa pamamagitan ng dahas. Hindi ito maitatag sa takot, pananakot, at pagkitil ng buhay. Ang kapayapaan ay nakabatay sa hustisya, pananagutan, at paggalang sa karapatang pantao ng bawat isa.

Hustisya para kay Alyssa Alano! Hustisya para sa lahat ng walang kalaban-labang pinaslang!

𝐎𝐡, 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐈 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧! 💖

We could not let March pass us by without celebrating 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡! What better way to do so than by advocating for the health and well-being of the women around us? 🙋‍♀️

One of the most important yet overlooked aspects of women’s overall well-being is 𝐏𝐞𝐥𝐯𝐢𝐜 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡. Despite its impact on quality of life and the number of women experiencing conditions related to it, there is a lack of awareness and conversation surrounding it. 🗣️

This Women’s Month, APTS is shedding light on a crucial part of women’s health in which physical therapists play a vital role❗️

To learn more about pelvic health and how we as future PTs can play a role in promoting it, 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗰 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗼𝘄! ⬇️
