Today, September 27, we join the entire Adamson University community in celebrating the 𝗙𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝘁. 𝗩𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗱𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝘂𝗹, the patron saint of charity, humility, and selfless service. His life remains a timeless reminder that true leadership begins with a willing heart to serve others, especially those in need. 🤝💙

AdUVISORY

In view of the announced transport strikes by PISTON and Manibela, the University is implementing the following schedules:

Basic Education (Preschool–SHS):
• September 28 (Mon.) - Online synchronous (due to strike)
• September 29 (Tue.) - Online synchronous (due to strike)

College:
• September 28 (Mon.) - Online synchronous (as scheduled)
• September 29 (Tue.) - Online synchronous (as scheduled)

Should the announced transport strike proceed on September 30, 2026 (Activity Day), scheduled activities may be conducted online, where feasible. Otherwise, they may be rescheduled to the immediately following Saturday in accordance with VPAA Memo No. 39, S. 2026, “Guidelines on the Conduct of Activity Day,” and subject to its applicable provisions. For classes scheduled on the same day, the online synchronous modality shall be observed.

Onsite office operations will proceed as usual.

Take a peek at what happened before, during, and after our 𝗚𝗠𝗔 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝗼𝗻 "𝗗𝗮𝗺𝗶 𝗠𝗼 𝗔𝗹𝗮𝗺, 𝗞𝘂𝘆𝗮 𝗞𝗶𝗺"! Between crude oil discussions with 𝗠𝗿. 𝗘𝗱𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗟𝘂𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗼 and 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. As part of Adamson University’s Student Mobility Program, held from 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟭 𝘁𝗼 𝟮𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, visitors from 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘆𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗺𝗮 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 in 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐚𝐢, 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚, participated in academic activities that was initiated by the 𝗔𝗱𝗮𝗺𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀.

On 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟱, one of the program’s sessions, the “𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹-𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴,” was conducted in collaboration with the 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 at the 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹 (𝗜𝗣𝗖) 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆, led by 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗷𝗼.

The session focused on the hands-on preparation of 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝗽𝗿𝗮𝘆, where the participants were introduced to the materials, preparation process, and basic considerations involved in producing the product.

The participants prepared sprays using lavender and irish spring scents, allowing them to explore the formulation and preparation of different fragrance options.

Through the activity, the visitors gained practical exposure to small-scale manufacturing and saw how concepts from chemical engineering can be applied to a simple and usable product.

𝘣𝘺 𝘒𝘺𝘳𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘯 𝘈𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘺, 𝘈𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘰𝘯 𝘖𝘤𝘰𝘯

Today, on 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟐𝟑, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, the Society of Petroleum Engineers – Adamson University Student Chapter (SPE-AdUSC) and the Adamson University Chemical Engineering Students’ Society (AdUChESS), together with the Campus Ministry Office, hosted “𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲, 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻: 𝗔 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗔 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻’𝘀 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲”.

The seminar highlighted the balance between academic responsibilities, personal well-being, and self-growth.

In the first session, faculty speaker 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗞𝘆𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗚𝗮𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗼𝘇𝗮 shared advice on time management, productivity, and rest, drawing from his background as a former working student and tutor.

Faculty members 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗝𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗺𝗮 𝗘𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗼, 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗷𝗼, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗼𝘂 𝗘𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗼 added that overcoming challenges, resource constraints, and time misuse are essential parts of student growth.

In the second session, alumna and faculty member 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗷𝗼 spoke about managing academic pressures, urging students to enjoy their journey rather than dwelling on difficulties.

She reminded the audience that constant deadlines build appreciation in hindsight and encouraged everyone to push through to graduation, as the sacrifices make becoming an Adamson alumnus truly rewarding.

Overall, the "Love, Life, and Learn" seminar provided attendees with actionable wisdom for both their academic and personal lives.

By bringing together perspectives from both current faculty and a successful alumna, the event successfully reminded Petroleum Engineering and Chemical Engineering students that while college brings rigorous challenges, developing proper self-care, resilience, and perspective ultimately makes the journey toward graduation deeply fulfilling.
