The College of Education, Arts and Sciences (CEAS) recognized its outstanding students during the CEAS Dean’s List Awarding Ceremony for Academic Year 2025–2026, celebrating their academic excellence, dedication, and perseverance.

Organized by the College of Education, Arts and Sciences Student Council (CEASSC), the ceremony highlighted the achievements of students who demonstrated strong academic performance and sustained commitment to their studies.

Dr. Leo S. Del Rosario, Dean of CEAS, congratulated all the awardees and expressed his pride in their accomplishments. He emphasized that their recognition reflects the hard work, determination, and commitment they have shown throughout the academic year.

The ceremony served not only as a recognition of academic achievement but also as an encouragement for students to continue striving for excellence.

UNITY STATEMENT

In light of the prevailing weather conditions, the CEAS Student Council (CEASSC), together with the CEAS Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs), calls for the full suspension of classes tomorrow, August 18, 2026, rather than shifting to Remote Synchronize Learning (RSL).

This is a collective call for the safety and welfare of every student, faculty member, and staff. No academic requirement should come before the well-being of our community.
We urge the NU Administration to hear the concerns of the CEAS community and reconsider the current arrangement.

DEAN’S LIST AWARDING CEREMONY — POSTPONED

Due to the current weather conditions, the CEAS Student Council announces that the Dean’s List Awarding Ceremony scheduled for tomorrow, August 18, 2026, is postponed for the safety of all awardees, guests, and organizers.

A new schedule will be announced once finalized. Please stay tuned to the official CEASSC channels for further updates.

The CEAS Student Council (CEASSC) participated in the ABELS General Assembly and Orientation, fostering stronger coordination and collaboration among student leaders.

During the assembly, 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐡 𝐁𝐚𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐬 presented the council’s General Plan of Action (GPOA), highlighting CEASSC’s key programs, initiatives, and directions for the academic year. The presentation served as an avenue to align the council’s plans with the needs and aspirations of the CEAS community.

Adding to the occasion, 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐫 𝐈𝐚𝐧 𝐓𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐲 was invited to host the event, contributing his energy and leadership to the successful conduct of the assembly and orientation.
