Greetings in solidarity and dedicated student service!

The College of Engineering–Student Government (CENSG) prioritizes the safety, accessibility, and overall welfare of our student body. In anticipation of upcoming events, we have formally requested a temporary shift to an online learning modality from 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟖 𝐭𝐨 𝟑𝟎, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔. This request is primarily based on 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐦 𝐂𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐍𝐨. 𝟏𝟑𝟔, 𝐬. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, which 𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐬 starting at 1:00 PM on September 28 in observance of "𝐊𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐚 𝐃𝐚𝐲." Shifting morning classes to an online setup will provide students and faculty ample flexibility to prepare without compromising instructional time. Furthermore, in response to the 2-day nationwide transport strike "𝐏𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐠𝐚" announced by 𝐏𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐍 on September [28], 29 and 30, shifting to online classes for these two succeeding days will ensure the safety of our commuting students and prevent any logistical disruptions.

We are pleased to inform the student body that this request, prepared by CENSG Acting Vice Governor 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐨𝐲𝐜𝐞 𝐓. 𝐄𝐝𝐢𝐜 and noted by CENSG Governor 𝐆𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐝𝐨 alongside Adviser 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐫. 𝐁𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐅𝐚𝐛𝐫𝐨, 𝐌𝐒𝐜, 𝐏𝐂𝐩𝐄, has been officially recommended for approval by our 𝐂𝐄𝐍 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐧, 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐫. 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐀𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐰 𝐀. 𝐓𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐚, 𝐒𝐒𝐂𝐡𝐄, 𝐌𝐒𝐜. The document is now transmitted to the Institute President for final, institution-wide approval. We are closely monitoring the situation and will release an official update once the final declaration and formal guidelines are issued for the entire EARIST community. In the meantime, please stay tuned to our official page.

Stay safe and vigilant, Engineers!

‎
‎Not every struggle is visible. Behind the smiles, conversations, and everyday routines, someone may be carrying something they haven't found the words to share.
‎
‎This Su***de Prevention Month, let’s create a community where people feel comfortable reaching out, speaking honestly, and asking for support without fear of judgment.
‎
‎Take a moment to check in. Start a conversation. Listen when someone needs to be heard. You don't need to have all the right answers; sometimes, simply being there can mean a lot.
‎
‎And if you're the one having a difficult time, you don't have to wait until things become unbearable to ask for help. Reaching out is not a burden. It's a step toward getting the support you deserve.
‎
‎Let’s make our community a little more compassionate, a little more understanding, and a place where everyone knows that their presence matters.
‎
‎Keep checking in. Keep listening. Keep showing up. 🧡

May you carry this accomplishment with humility and use your knowledge and skills to serve others and contribute meaningfully to the electrical profession.

To those who did not pass this time, remember that this is not the end of your journey. A board examination result does not define your intelligence, potential, or future. Take this experience as an opportunity to learn, improve, and come back stronger. Your dream remains within reach, and there is still another opportunity to achieve it.

As you move forward—whether celebrating a victory today or preparing for another attempt—hold on to your faith and continue believing in yourself.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
— Jeremiah 29:11

May this verse remind each of you that one examination result does not determine the entirety of your future. Trust the process, keep moving forward, and continue pursuing excellence.

To our faculty members, mentors, parents, families, and friends who stood beside our examinees throughout their preparation, thank you for your unwavering support.

Once again, CONGRATULATIONS to our successful REE and RME passers! 🎉⚡

And to everyone who took the examination, we are proud of you for having the courage to try. Keep going. Your journey continues.
