In consideration of the inclement weather conditions, the Student Affairs and Services Office is providing a flexible period for the return of academic togas until 𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟏𝟑, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, 𝐚𝐭 𝟗:𝟎𝟎 𝐀𝐌-𝟓:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌 without penalty.

Graduates may also return their graduation attire starting today, August 11 (until 5:00pm only) at the Office of Student Affairs and Services, on a 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐬.

Heavenly Father, we continue to pray for Luzon and all the communities affected by the heavy rains and flooding. If it is according to Your will, Lord, may the rains finally stop, as so many families have already suffered and been displaced. Please protect those still in danger, provide safe shelter for those who have nowhere to sleep, food for the hungry, and immediate help for every family in need. Strengthen our rescuers, volunteers, and responders as they continue serving affected communities. Lord, we also pray for our leaders; open their minds and hearts and give them wisdom, compassion, and urgency to take meaningful and lasting action against flooding. May resources be used responsibly and may better solutions be implemented to protect lives, homes, and livelihoods so fewer families will experience this suffering again. Above all, may Your will be done. Bring comfort to those who are suffering, restoration to affected communities, and hope to our nation. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🇵🇭

🌧️ HEALTH REMINDER EVERYONE!

As we continue to experience heavy rains and flooding this rainy season, please be extra cautious about LEPTOSPIROSIS.

⚠️ Avoid floodwater whenever possible. Wear protective footwear and gloves when cleaning, wash thoroughly with soap and water, and seek medical attention if you develop symptoms after exposure.

🦺 If contact with floodwater is unavoidable:
• Wear protective boots and gloves.
• Cover cuts and wounds with waterproof dressings.
• Wash exposed skin immediately with clean water and soap.
• Avoid eating or drinking anything contaminated by floodwater.
• Keep your surroundings clean and dispose of waste properly to help prevent rats.

🚨 WATCH FOR SYMPTOMS: Fever, headache, muscle aches, red eyes, vomiting, diarrhea, or unusual weakness after possible exposure.

If you develop symptoms after being exposed to floodwater, seek medical attention immediately and inform the healthcare provider about your possible exposure.
