Becoming part of the Commission and serving the PLM student body in ensuring fair, clean, and transparent elections may have been tiring but it surely felt fulfilling, contributing to the overall wellness of the Pamantasan. On September 9, 2026, the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila Student Commission on Elections proudly participated in the 𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐍 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭 & 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, organized by CHED NCR in partnership with leading youth and education organizations.

The summit serves as a dynamic platform for discussions on ASEAN education, youth leadership, organizational strengthening, mental wellness, and global citizenship. Through panel sessions, interactive activities, and meaningful exchanges, PLM SCOMELEC joined fellow student leaders in advancing the vision of 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐍, 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡, 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞.

This milestone reaffirmed our commitment to responsible leadership, democratic participation, and student empowerment–principles at the core of SCOMELEC’s mission. We remain steadfast in championing the role of student leaders in shaping stronger communities within and beyond our university.

𝐏𝐋𝐌 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐂 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐨𝐚𝐫… 🌟🌟🌟

Last August 14, 2026, the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila held its University Recognition 2026 at Justo Alberto Auditorium (JAA) to recognize the excellence of Haribons driving towards their personal and collective goals.

Along with other student-led organizations, the PLM Commission on Elections was hailed and awarded as one of the 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 (𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱-𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲), which reflects the Commission’s continued commitment to promote social responsibility, awareness, and civic engagement.

Moving forward, the Commission hopes to use this achievement as an inspiration to remain steadfast in fulfilling its mission—to enlighten the students of Pamantasan about how their vote, voice, and civic participation matter in creating a better society.

𝐎𝐚𝐭𝐡-𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

On 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟮, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the 𝗣𝗟𝗠 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 (𝗣𝗟𝗠 𝗦𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗖) held its 𝗢𝗮𝘁𝗵-𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆.

The newly appointed officers and commissioners formally took their oath, pledging to uphold the principles of 𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨, 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙮, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙜𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙮 in serving the Pamantasan community and carrying out the Commission’s mandate.

The ceremony also marked the official turnover of responsibilities from the outgoing officers and commissioners to the newly appointed members. Through their reflections, experiences, and words of guidance—including outgoing and welcoming speeches—the outgoing officials shared valuable lessons that will help strengthen the Commission's work moving forward.

As one chapter comes to a close and another begins, the Commission renews its commitment to promoting 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻, 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 for the entire Pamantasan community.

PLM COMELEC expresses its sincere appreciation for their time, commitment, and contributions to the Commission and its mandate of promoting and upholding the integrity, fairness, and credibility of student elections.

Their service has formed part of the Commission’s continuing history and has contributed to the work entrusted to PLM COMELEC in safeguarding the electoral rights and interests of the PLM student body.

Today, the PLM Student Commission on Elections celebrates the birthday of its Chairperson, Czar Marc Anthony Sanvictores, whose dedication, integrity, and exemplary leadership continue to guide the Commission in upholding the principles of fairness, transparency, and accountability.

As he marks another year of life, the Commission extends its warmest greetings and sincerest appreciation for his unwavering commitment to serving the Pamantasan community. May this special day be filled with joy and may the year ahead bring him good health, abundant blessings, continued success, and fulfillment in all his endeavors.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | 𝗣𝗟𝗠 𝗖𝗟-𝗦𝗖 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗧𝗨𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗕𝗜𝗦𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗘

Last June 5, 2026, the PLM Student Commission on Elections conducted the plebiscite for the proposed Constitution of the PLM College of Law Student Council, held from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

The Commission monitored the voting turnout at the CL-SC Room, where the number of participating voters continued to increase throughout the day. After the voting period officially closed, the Commission proceeded to Gusaling Katipunan (GK) 203 for the canvassing of votes.

The plebiscite recorded 164 participating voters out of 277 registered voters, resulting in a 59.21% voter turnout. Of the votes cast, 160 voted in favor of adopting the proposed Constitution, while 4 voted against it.

On behalf of the PLM Student Commission on Elections, the Commission extends its congratulations to the PLM College of Law Student Council and the College of Law student body for their participation and support in this important step toward strengthening student governance in the College of Law.

The Commission extends its appreciation to all College of Law students who took part in the plebiscite and contributed to the success of this process.

Last 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, the Pamantasan community gathered for the 𝐎𝐚𝐭𝐡-𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲 of the newly elected student leaders for the Academic Year 2026–2027, formally marking the transition of leadership within the student government.

The program commenced with opening remarks from 𝐌𝐬. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞 𝐉. 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐥, Adviser of the PLM Student Commission on Elections, who emphasized the importance of servant leadership, accountability, and commitment in public service.

During the ceremony, the newly elected officers of the 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 and the 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐬 took their oath of office, pledging to uphold the trust bestowed upon them by the student body and to serve with integrity, dedication, and excellence.

The ceremony also featured messages from the outgoing and incoming SSC Presidents, who reflected on the achievements of the past administration and shared their vision for the future of student leadership in the University. The turnover proper symbolized the formal transfer of responsibilities, continuing the legacy of service from one administration to the next.

The program concluded with closing remarks from 𝐌𝐱. 𝐂𝐳𝐚𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐲 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐬, Chairperson of the PLM Student Commission on Elections, who commended the newly elected leaders and encouraged them to lead with purpose, integrity, and a genuine commitment to the Pamantasan community.

Last June 1, 2026, the PLM Student Commission on Elections formally conducted the Proclamation of Winners 2026 at the Bukod Tanging Bulwagan (BTB), recognizing the newly elected student leaders of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila.

The program opened with the message of encouragement and guidance of the University President, Atty. Domingo “Sonny” Y. Reyes, Jr., who reminded the newly elected leaders that “leadership is not merely about holding a position but about carrying the trust of the students with integrity, humility, and genuine commitment to service.”

This ceremony marked the official conclusion of the electoral process and the beginning of a new chapter of leadership, service, and accountability for the PLM student body.

The program concluded with the closing message of gratitude and encouragement delivered by Ms. Carholiene Anne Dancel, Assistant Secretary of the PLM Student COMELEC, who emphasized that “the titles you now hold are not merely positions but commitments to serve the PLM community with purpose and responsibility.”
