𝗛𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗦𝗬𝗔 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗔 𝗞𝗔𝗬 𝗝𝗘𝗡𝗡𝗜𝗙𝗘𝗥 𝗟𝗔𝗨𝗗𝗘!

12 na taon na ang nakalipas mula nang paslangin ang ating kapatid na trans Pinay na si Jennifer Laude, o mas kilala bilang si Ganda, ngunit hanggang ngayon ay hindi pa rin nakakamit ang hustisya para sa kanyang pagpatay.

Kaisa ang Bahagsari sa panawagan ng hustisya para kay Ganda. Ang kanyang pagpaslang ay manipestasyon ng matagal nang umiiral na transfemicide, transphobia, at imperyalismo sa bansa. Si US Marine Pfc. Joseph Scott Pemberton, ang pumaslang kay Jennifer Laude, ay nasa Pilipinas sa ilalim ng Visiting Forces Agreement (VFA), isang kasunduang nagpapasailalim sa Pilipinas sa interes ng US at ng pwersang militar nito.

Ang pardon na iginawad ni dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte kay Pemberton ay nangangahulugan ng kawalan ng hustisya at pananagutan sa gender-based violence na ginagawa ng mga dayuhan. Ang pardon na ito ay salamin ng malalim na kolonyal at imperyalistang interes ng US na patuloy na pumapailalim sa Pilipinas.

Patuloy nating aalalahanin si Jennifer Laude hanggang sa manaig ang hustisya, at tuluyang mapabagsak ang transfemicide sa bansa.

Pride is, was, and will always be a protest. This Friday, One Big Pride 2026 welcomes the community to raise our voices in this year’s 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵: 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗮-𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗽𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝘂𝗸𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗻 this October 16, 2026. 🌈

Before the march itself, join us in a 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 at the Kostka Tables starting at 3:30pm. 👥

From there, we gather at 𝗭𝗲𝗻 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻 (𝗞𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗸𝗮 𝗦𝗶𝗱𝗲) 𝗮𝘁 𝟰:𝟯𝟬 𝗣𝗠 for the Pride March assembly, followed by the 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘀-𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗮𝘁 𝟱:𝟬𝟬 𝗣𝗠.

This Pride March reminds us that we have a whole community by our side. Pride is not just a celebration of who we are, but also a remembrance of the struggles that we have fought and the fight that continues today. Together, let us march, take up space, and celebrate the identities that make up our community.

🏳️‍🌈 ANG PRIDE AY PROTESTA! ✊

Ngayong Pride Month, sama-sama nating ipakita na ang Pride ay hindi lamang selebrasyon, ito ay patuloy na pakikibaka para sa karapatan at hustisya.

Dalhin ang inyong pinakamakulay at pinakamapalabang mga panawagan. Bitbit natin ang panawagan para sa agarang pagpasa ng SOGIE Equality Bill, hustisya para sa lahat ng naging biktima ng diskriminasyon at karahasan, at pagwawakas sa lahat ng anyo ng pang-aapi.

Naninindigan tayong ang tunay na paglaya ng sangkabaklaan ay nakaugnay sa paglaya ng buong sambayanan. Kaya naman inaanyayahan ng UPM USC, kasama ang Bahagsari UPM, ang lahat ng Iskolar ng Bayan na lumabas sa apat na sulok ng silid-aralan at makiisa sa kolektibong pagkilos para sa isang lipunang tunay na malaya at makatarungan.

🌈🏳️‍🌈 UP Manila Pride Month 2026

The UPM University Student Council, together with Bahagsari UPM and the Center for Gender and Women Studies, presents this year’s Mini Pride Month celebration.

As we near the end of June, we continue to honor and continue the struggles of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Samahan kami sa isang napapanahong talakayan ukol sa HIV/AIDS bilang paggunito sa World AIDS Day, kung saan matututo at magiging mas handa ka sa buhay.
