𝙏𝙐𝙋 𝙏𝙖𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙎𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨 𝘽𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩:
𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙅𝙚𝙬𝙚𝙡𝙧𝙮 𝘿𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙜𝙣 𝘼𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙨 2025 𝙒𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝘼𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙙!

The Graphics Department of the College of Architecture and Fine Arts (CAFA), led by their dept head, Prof. Lowell Quey S. Fabrigar, proudly showcased their talent at the 21st Philippine Fine Jewelry Design Competition. The awarding ceremony was held on December 11, 2025, at the 3rd Floor, Tanghalang Meycaueno, New Municipal Building of Meycauayan City, Bulacan.
Out of 687 participants nationwide, our students achieved remarkable honors:

👏Special Recognition
The adviser, Ms. Danna F. Miciano, was recognized for her invaluable guidance and mentorship. She also received awards in the Wedding Category and Ethnic Category (Non-Pro Level) for her outstanding work.

This achievement highlights not only the creativity and skill of the Graphics Department students but also the active participation of faculty members and students from BGT–Industrial Design in industry immersion, where they gain hands-on experience and exposure to professional practices in jewelry design. These initiatives strengthen the link between academic learning and industry standards.

This milestone showcases the creativity, dedication, and excellence of TUPians, reinforcing our university’s reputation as a hub for outstanding artistry and design.

𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 | 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗲-𝘁𝗼-𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟳 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟴

Following the formal request of the TUP University Student Government – Manila to shift to a 1-week Remote Synchronous Learning (RSL) due to the recent incident inside the campus, the University Administration has responded through an official memorandum.

As stated in the released memo:

𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝗔𝘀𝘆𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 (𝗥𝗔𝗟) shall be implemented on 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, in observance of a Day of Mourning for the untimely and tragic passing of a student from the College of Industrial Education. This day will allow the community to grieve and reflect in solidarity.

𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝘆𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 (𝗥𝗦𝗟) shall be implemented on 𝗧𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, in consideration of the scheduled water service interruption on campus, as announced by Maynilad.

Note: University offices will remain operational. However, students are discouraged from entering the university premises. Urgent concerns must be formally addressed to the Vice President for Academic Affairs.

For our dear co-student, a beautiful soul who passed away on April 4, 2025, the TUP USG Manila, together with ACSO, The Philippine Artisan, and the entire TUP Community, mourns deeply with the bereaved family.

In this time of sorrow, we extend our deepest condolences and all the help we can offer. With heavy hearts, we reach out to the TUP Community for support—let us come together to honor her life and help her family during this difficult time.

Through the TUP USG Manila, we are launching a community-wide Donation Drive to offer both comfort and assistance.
