The sun was shining that day. A cloudless sky watched as we stepped past the Arch with untouched notebooks and futures too large for us to understand. Back then, we thought time was endless.
The sky cried on afternoons when rain soaked through our uniforms and pooled in our socks. It cried as we laughed, living our โRain in Espaรฑaโ dreams. The view from the grandstand of those pink sunsets after exhausting exams was a moment I wish I couldโve frozen in time. During those darkest nights, when sleepless hours and flickering lamps became our companions, the sky with its endless stars remained awake with us.
Graduation waits at the edge of tomorrow. I hope the sky wonโt cry with us this time.
Soon, we will drift toward different places and unfamiliar lives, far beyond four gated walls and crowded streets, bearing pieces of each other into places we have never seen.
But the sky does not change, it is still the same sky. Above us, it remains the same sky. Still watching, still remembering, and still holding every version of us together.
