Due to inclement weather brought by Tropical Depression Maymay and the southwest monsoon, Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko" Moreno Domagoso has announced the suspension of face-to-face classes tomorrow, August 8, 2026, at all levels in public and private schools. Schools are advised to shift to a Remote Synchronous Learning modality. This follows the recommendation of the Manila City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office as weather models continue to indicate light to heavy rainfall.

Following the recommendation of the Manila City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko" Moreno Domagoso suspended face-to-face classes for tomorrow, August 7, 2026, across all levels in both public and private schools. This is due to inclement weather brought by the southwest monsoon and Tropical Storm Maymay.

Schools are advised to shift to Remote Synchronous Learning (RSL). Everyone is advised to refrain from going out. Prioritize your personal well-being, stay safe and dry, NUMTs! ☔

This is due to inclement weather that continues to bring light to heavy rainfall. Furthermore, NU Manila offices will remain open and continue to accommodate onsite transactions.

As per the official guidelines from the Department of Medical Technology, all students are strictly prohibited from wearing their laboratory gowns outside designated laboratory premises. Laboratory gowns serve as personal protective equipment (PPE) meant to shield individuals from biological and chemical hazards; wearing them in hallways, common areas, or off-campus risks transferring harmful contaminants to public spaces. Students are reminded to follow the laboratory safety protocols at all times.
