𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓: The USG Executive Committee has disseminated a notice regarding an 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 to all PCU academic and non-academic organizations.

The meeting will serve as 𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁. It provides a way for PCU organizations to be informed, consulted, and engaged in discussions about this matter.

The Emergency Consultation Meeting will be held on 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 (𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆), 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟭:𝟯𝟬 𝗣𝗠 𝘁𝗼 𝟯:𝟬𝟬 𝗣𝗠 𝘃𝗶𝗮 𝗭𝗼𝗼𝗺.

URGENT ADVISORY
5 August 2026

Upon recommendation of the Manila City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department (MCDRRMD), I am ordering the suspension of classes in all levels in public and private schools on Thursday, 6 August 2026, due to inclement weather brought about by enhanced southwest monsoon (habagat).

According to the MCDRRMD, the latest weather models and rainfall outlook from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) indicate significant rainfall tomorrow, with intensity ranging from light to moderate, at times heavy.

Schools are advised to shift to ADM or Alternative Delivery Mode.

What is the 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝗶𝗻?
🍃 The 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗽-𝗼𝗳𝗳 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗲-𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗶𝗺𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝘇𝗲𝗿𝗼 𝘄𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲 by encouraging the donation of items that are no longer used but still in good condition. These items will be collected and redistributed to selected charitable organizations in the future. This project also aims to raise sustainability awareness within the PCU community while strengthening campus collaboration across offices and organizations. Collected items may also serve as emergency donations if the need arises (𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘸𝘦 𝘩𝘰𝘱𝘦 𝘪𝘵 𝘥𝘰𝘦𝘴𝘯’𝘵!🤞).
