| Upon recommendation of the Manila City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department (MCDRRMD), I am ordering the suspension of all classes in all levels in public and private schools tomorrow, Saturday, September 5, 2026, due to continued inclement weather brought about by the southwest monsoon (habagat).

According to the MCDRRMD, the latest rainfall outlook from state weather bureau PAGASA indicates continued rainy weather over the city tomorrow. An orange intense rainfall warning is currently raised over Manila and nearby cities.

Schools are advised to shift to ADM or Alternative Delivery Mode.

According to the MCDRRMD, the latest rainfall outlook from state weather bureau PAGASA indicates moderate to heavy rainfall expected from the issuance of this advisory through Saturday evening.

Schools are advised to shift to ADM or Alternative Delivery Mode.

Upon recommendation of the Manila City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department (MCDRRMD), I am ordering the suspension of all classes in all levels in public and private schools on Friday, August 28, 2026, due to inclement weather brought about by the southwest monsoon (habagat) enhanced by a typhoon outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

According to the MCDRRMD, light to moderate rainfall, at times heavy, is expected from morning through noon, with chances of heavy to very heavy rainfall increasing in the afternoon through Saturday.

Schools are advised to shift to ADM or Alternative Delivery Mode.
