Every drop of sweat, every burning muscle, and every second spent swallowing the dirt was a test of how badly we wanted to be here. reception rites smash your limits to pieces, stripping away all excuses until there's nothing left but sheer grit.

The pain stripped away our pride and showed us who we really are when everything gets tough. Standing there soaked and exhausted, we saw that real strength was never about how much one person could endure, but how we held each other up when we had nothing left to give.

Congratulations, Crim 45 and Batch SANDIGLAKAN!! Congratulations to every single one of us. We faced the mud, the sweat, and the struggle, mind over body. This victory belongs to everyone who stood their ground and refused to back down. Salute to our batch, and here’s to conquering every trial that lies ahead. 🫶🕊️

The election is over and the results are exactly what you expected. Sila na naman, featuring the new recruits na nadamay lang at walang nagawa nung tinawag ang pangalan. Our classroom officers are officially set to handle the academic workload for the rest of the year.

The devastating fire incidents have left several families displaced and facing sudden, severe vulnerability. In direct response to this crisis, CRIM 43 and CRIM 45 have joined forces to launch Project Alab a student-led relief initiative aimed at providing immediate aid to the affected households.

Let us redefine the meaning of Alab, transforming a symbol of destruction into a powerful demonstration of community resilience and proactive service.

Final day kicked off with a demanding Physical Fitness Test that highlighted the participants' deep camaraderie.

The absolute highlight of the training had to be the moment the Class of 2027 finally found the identity as the "SANDIGLAKAN" (Samahang Nagkakaisa sa Dignidad, Giting, at Lakas ng mga Iskolar ng Bayan). Standing proud behind the batch motto, Guided by Honor, Committed to Valor,” this name and new logo are a beautiful reminder of the unity, discipline, and deep love for justice they all share.

looking back sa nakalipas na tatlong araw, alam naming hindi naging madali. every single drop of sweat, bawat sakit ng katawan, at mga gabing puyat at pagod lahat ng 'yan ay naging puhunan. sa likod ng maipagmamalaking pangalang "SANDIGLAKAN" ay ang inyong dugo't pawis. nakita namin kung paano niyo pinilit tumayo kahit nanginginig na ang mga tuhod, at kung paano binuhat at iniyakan ang isa't isa noong mga oras na parang gusto niyo nang sumuko. ya'll didn't just survive the training, you guys poured your absolute hearts and souls into it. hindi lang ito naging test of endurance, patunay ito ng inyong wagas na sakripisyo at pagmamahal sa inyong calling. kaya sa buong SANDIGLAKAN batch, a massive and heartfelt congratulations! 🫶🫶🫶🎖️🎖️💞

𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐓𝐖𝐎 𝐃𝐎𝐍𝐄!! 🏃‍♀️📖

The entire session was managed by a dedicated team of faculty members and facilitators who focused on both the physical and professional growth of the trainees.

The demanding physical conditioning drills were directed by Prof. Vincent P. Visitacion and Prof. Joaquin De Castro II, along with the Batch LABDASIK facilitators. Following the workouts, CCJ alumnus Pat. Angelbert Domingo took the floor to share his personal experiences, delivering an impactful talk on how today's struggles build tomorrow's resilience.

The program then transitioned to the upcoming On-the-Job Training (OJT) briefing, where Prof. Jopher F. Nazario, Prof. Béma P. Fulgencio-Obias, and Prof. Vincent P. Visitacion mapped out the rules, expectations, and mindsets required for the students' next big step in the field.

Leadership was explored beyond concepts and turned into meaningful conversations and experiences throughout the sessions. Through the discussion on the Principles of Leadership by Atty. Rodolfo V. Castillo, Jr. and the session on Leadership Styles by Prof. Béma P. Fulgencio-Obias, participants gained new insights on leading with purpose and understanding different approaches in leadership.

The interactive activities facilitated by the CEC gave everyone the chance to apply what they learned, while the Batch Organization session led by Dr. Rizalino D. Flores III highlighted the importance of working together, building unity, and sharing responsibility as one batch.

Universidad de Manila - General Education Department extends its deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of Prof. Jay Panganiban on his passing.

​Prof. Panganiban was a valued member of our faculty, and his dedication to the Merlion community will always be remembered.
