Ang Sikbayan ay isang grupo ng mga mag-aaral mula sa Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Kolehiyo ng Political Science at Public Administration, na nag-aaral ng Bachelor of Public Administration (1-2) sa Taong Panuruan 2024-2025. Hinahasa namin ang kanilang mga kasanayan, pinapalawak ang kanilang kaalaman, at sinisiksik sa kanilang mga puso ang pagmamahal sa bayan. Naniniwala kami sa isang lipunan na makatarungan, pantay-pantay, at progresibo. Sama-sama, itatayo natin ang kinabukasan na ating pinapangarap. Isang maligayang-maligayang kaarawan sa aming masipag, maaasahan, at laging handang magsilbi na Class President ng BPA 3-2, Pres. Gato! 🎉 Nawa’y maging masaya, meaningful, at puno ng magagandang alaala ang araw na ito. May this new chapter bring you more happiness, success, growth, and countless reasons to smile. 💛

Of course, hindi mawawala ang ating paboritong recitation life-saver at human dictionary ng klase! 📚✨ Kapag may biglaang recitation at nagsisimula nang kabahan ang lahat, alam na namin kung sino ang puwedeng takbuhan. 😂 Beyond the jokes, thank you for always being there for BPA 3-2, for leading our class, and for willingly taking on the responsibilities that come with being our President.

📌 SAAN PO IPA-PROCESS ANG BIRTHDAY VENUE NI TRIZH?

🎂 Happy Birthday, Trizh! 💛

Happy birthday sa ating Class Vice President, ang makulit, laging aligaga, at certified na may kailangang i-follow up o i-process ng BPA 3-2! 😂 Kung may papel na kailangang habulin, event na kailangang ayusin, or something na kailangang mangyari, alam nating isa si Trizh sa mga taong unang kikilos hanggang maging successful ang plano.

Mataray minsan, pero deep inside, sobrang sweet, caring, and loving na friend. As a student-leader, kitang-kita namin kung gaano ka kasipag mag-process ng papers, mag-follow up ng requirements, mag-asikaso ng events, at gawin ang lahat para sa klase. Kahit ilang beses ka nang magreklamo na “pagod na ako” o “ako na naman?!” 😭, somehow ikaw pa rin ang kumikilos kapag kailangan.

Kaya ngayong birthday mo, isang bagay lang ang hiling namin: sana huwag ka nang masyadong magreklamo sa pag-process ng papers at events… pero alam naming kasama na talaga ‘yan sa package ng pagiging Trizh. HAHAHA! 😂

But seriously, thank you for always showing up for BPA 3-2. Thank you for being someone we can rely on, for caring about our class, and for putting so much time and effort into making our plans, events, and little ideas come to life. Your pagka-makulit, pagiging aligaga, pagiging mataray, and your big heart are all part of what makes you the Trizh we know and love. 🫶

‎Nagkakaisang pahayag ng mga pormasyon ng mga lingkod-bayan

‎Apat na dekada na ang nakararaan nang dumugin ng taumbayan ang kahabaan ng Epifanio Delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) upang manawagan na mapatalsik ang diktador at ama ni Bongbong Marcos, si Ferdinand Marcos Sr. Walang espasyo ng kalsada ang hindi napunan ng diskuntento at galit ng sambayanan sa kabila ng pagharang ng mga tangke at armadong militar. Ipinamalas ng taumbayan ang kapangyarihan ng pinag-isang pagkilos sa pag-ukit at paglikha ng kasaysayan sa gitna ng daluyong ng imperyalismo, burukrata-kapitalismo, at pyudalismo.

‎Ngunit taliwas sa paraan kung paano madalas ipinipinta ang EDSA People Power Uprising, hindi ito kailanman naging payapa at tahimik. Dugo at buhay ang ibinuwis sa pagpatag ng daan bago humantong ang sambayanan sa EDSA. Ilang kabataan, lider-mamamayan, at propesyonal ang namartir habang militanteng ipinaglalaban ang karapatan, kalayaan, at demokrasya na tinatamasa natin sa kasalukuyan.

‎Ibaon man sa limot at tanggalan ng kredibilidad, bahagi ng kasaysayan ang mataas na pagpapasya ng masang-anakpawis na armasan ang kanilang sarili bilang depensa sa sistematikong pandarahas at panunupil ng Estado.
‎
‎Ngayon na ginugunita natin ang ika-40 anibersaryo ng EDSA People Power Uprising, binabalikan natin ang ipinamalas na giting, tapang, at militansiya ng taumbayan sa harap ng represyon, korapsyon, at pasismo. Bagamat hindi nagbago ang kalagayan ng mga Pilipino—mula korapsyon, tipo ng politika, at dinastiya hanggang sa barat na sahod sa mga manggagawa, kawalan ng lupang sinasaka, at kapos na pondo sa serbisyong panlipunan—nananatiling búhay ang alaala sa atin ng EDSA upang ipaalala ang halaga ng pagkilos, panawagan, at militansiya sa paghubog ng lipunang malaya.

‎Pinatutunayan ng EDSA na ang lunas minsan sa isang institusyonal na problema ay hindi palaging nadadaan sa eleksyon at reporma. Sapagkat ang kolektibong pagkilos sa iisang layunin ay may kakayahan na kamtin ang panlipunang pagbabago.

Sa panahon na isang Marcos na naman ang nakaupo, malaki ang gampanin natin na paigtingin pa ang ating pagmumulat, pag-oorganisa, at pagpapakilos sa harap ng kaliwa’t kanang krisis panlipunan. Dumarami man ang bilang ng mga kabataan st lider-mamamayan na nireredtag at hinaharas, ipapakita natin ang ating matapang na pagtindig sa ating demokratikong karapatan. Busalan man ay mananatiling matingkad ang diwang palaban at makabayan ng sambayanang Pilipino. Ito ang pamana sa atin ng EDSA.
