FILIPINO: WIKA, KULTURA, AT BOSES NG BAGONG BAYANI
A BUWAN NG WIKA + NATIONAL HEROES’ DAY STATEMENT

☔️ NONSTOP RAIN 24/7? TAKE ACTION AND BE AWARE ABOUT LEPTOSPIROSIS! ☔️

As the Habagat season and approaching typhoons may potentially affect Filipinos through continuous heavy rains and flooding, the community is encouraged to prepare as floodwaters and potential exposure to possible infections remain imminent. 🦠

Prevention is better than cure, they say, so it is only essential for everyone to know key information about LEPTOSPIROSIS — a disease that can be acquired through exposure to contaminated waters and caused by the bacterium Leptospira.

Know more about its proper ways of prevention and intervention by checking out NURse to Know!

Stay informed and safe, Thomasian student nurses! ☔️🐯
