The training provided participants with an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of rope safety, equipment handling, knot tying, basic anchoring, and the use of Prusik systems, together with basic ascending, descending, and rappelling techniques. Beyond the technical skills, the training emphasized the importance of proper preparation, safety checks, teamwork, and responsible decision-making in technical outdoor activities.
Through hands-on instruction and practical application, participants gained a deeper understanding of how ropemanship skills can be applied in mountaineering and other outdoor situations.
The Mapรบa University Mountaineering Club extends its sincere appreciation to TRRTPI and all the instructors and facilitators for generously sharing their knowledge, experience, and expertise.
This milestone marks another step in MUMC's continuing commitment to learning, training, and promoting safe and responsible mountaineering.
