In line with its commitment to transparency, accountability, and efficient public service delivery, the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) presents its 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

The Charter provides essential information on the University’s services, documentary requirements, procedures, processing times, and applicable fees.

𝙋𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙚 𝙣𝙤𝙩𝙚: The PLM Citizen’s Charter 2026 was submitted to the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) on September 22, 2026, and is currently awaiting approval.

Two graduates of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) College of Engineering have been awarded full two-year scholarships to pursue further studies at Cheng Shiu University in Taiwan.

Mechanical Engineering graduates Carl Jonathan R. Muñoz and Lanz Yuri Elmundo received scholarships for the Baccalaureate Program in Equipment Engineering, providing them an opportunity to further develop their knowledge and technical expertise in an international academic environment.

The achievement reflects PLM’s continuing efforts to expand global learning opportunities for its students and graduates through international academic linkages.

The University congratulates Muñoz and Elmundo, as well as the dean, faculty, and staff of the College of Engineering for this milestone.

PLM also recognizes the support of the Office of the Vice President for Research, Academic, and Extension Services (OVPRAES) in facilitating opportunities that strengthen the University’s international academic engagement.

Patuloy na sinusuportahan ng Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Maynila ang edukasyon sa pamamagitan ng paglalaan ng ₱62.5 milyon para sa College Subsidy Program ng Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) para sa Hulyo hanggang Setyembre 2026.

Nakatakdang ipamahagi ang subsidiya sa Oktubre 12–15, 2026 upang makatulong sa mga gastusin ng mga estudyante sa kanilang pag-aaral.

Maraming salamat sa ating mga taxpayers ng Maynila! Ang inyong buwis ay mahalagang katuwang sa pagbibigay ng mas maraming oportunidad para sa edukasyon at magandang kinabukasan ng mga Batang Maynila.

NEWS ALERT: Manila Releases ₱92.9 Million in Educational Subsidies and Student Allowances to PLM, EARIST

Manila City Mayor Francisco “Isko” Moreno Domagoso personally turned over checks totaling ₱92.91 million in educational subsidies and student allowances to the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) and the Eulogio “Amang” Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology (EARIST) on Tuesday, October 13, reaffirming the city government’s commitment to education.

Joined by City Treasurer Atty. Paul Vega, Domagoso turned over ₱62.5 million in institutional subsidy to PLM and ₱6,803,135 to EARIST. The city also released ₱23,607,000 in student allowances for 7,869 PLM students, equivalent to ₱1,000 per month for July, August, and September 2026.

“Para ma-boost naman ang morale ng ating mga estudyante,” Domagoso said.

PLM President Atty. Domingo “Sonny” Reyes Jr. and EARIST President Rogelio Mamaradlo received the checks on behalf of their respective institutions.

The release forms part of Manila’s October 2026 Social Amelioration Program, which allocates ₱696.7 million in financial assistance to 333,258 beneficiaries, including students, teachers, senior citizens, persons with disabilities, solo parents, and public safety personnel.

Domagoso said the city will continue investing in education as part of its Minimum Basic Needs platform, alongside healthcare, housing, and employment.

Through continued institutional funding and student assistance, the city government aims to expand educational opportunities and help more young Manileños pursue their academic goals.
