How to join:

Last March 24, 2026, the Apparel and Fashion Technology students of TUP Manila participated in an educational tour aimed at enhancing their knowledge and providing real-world exposure related to their field. The day began early with an assembly at 4:30 AM and departure at 5:00 AM, setting the tone for a full day of learning and exploration.

Their first destination was Hamlin Industrial Corporation in Carmona, Cavite, where they were introduced to the company’s operations and manufacturing processes. Students had the opportunity to observe machines in action, understand how materials are handled, and see how specific tasks are carried out by workers. The experience gave them a clearer understanding of efficiency, safety, and the importance of coordination in an industrial setting.

After a short lunch break, the tour continued at Asia Textile in Calamba, Laguna. In this part of the visit, students learned about textile production, including the different stages involved in fabric manufacturing. This provided them with deeper insight into the materials and processes that play a crucial role in apparel development.

Throughout the tour, students practiced discipline, followed safety protocols, and showed respect to the staff and speakers. The day also included a quick stop at a pasalubong store, allowing them to bring home small tokens for their loved ones.

Overall, the educational tour was a meaningful and enriching experience that bridged classroom knowledge with real-world application. It allowed students to appreciate the people, processes, and industries behind their field, leaving them inspired and better prepared as future professionals.

On March 13-15 , the 2nd - Year Apparel and Fashion Technology students took part on the Moda de Mayo : Rhythm & Style Women's Festival at Estancia Mall and Moda de Mayo: NextGen Designers Collection Runway Show showcasing their bold, colorful, on the edge designs with their Summer, Spring, and Winter collection. As they carry the banner of TUP Manila with pride and joy, the fashion show took place in Estancia Mall, Pasig and South Wing Atrium, Green Hills Mall.
