‎2𝗡𝗗 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗗𝗔𝗬 》The 279th NROTC Unit UPHS Manila successfully conducted its second day of MS1 training through an online class session. Cadets continued their journey of learning, discipline, and leadership development, whether rain or shine.

‎The session focused on strengthening the cadets' understanding of the program and fostering active participation despite the virtual setting. Topics discussed during the online class included the legal basis of the NROTC program, military organization, military courtesy, Interior guard duty and military justice

‎Through discussions and interactive activities, the cadets gained valuable knowledge that will guide them throughout their NROTC training.

𝗖𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗧 𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗘𝗥 𝗖𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗦𝗘 (𝗖𝗢𝗖𝗖) 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗥𝗨𝗜𝗧𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗔.𝗬. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲–𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳 》The 279th Naval ROTC Unit Cadet Officer Candidate Course (COCC) Recruitment for Academic Year 2026–2027 is now officially open.

The Corps of Cadet Officers is now accepting applications from cadets who are interested in taking a more active role in the organization and are willing to undergo Advance ROTC training. COCC is designed to prepare future cadet officers through discipline, responsibility, teamwork, and structured military training.

𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝟯 》The 279th Naval ROTC Unit - UPHS Manila Advanced ROTC Corps of Cadet Officers have successfully completed their Military Science 3 training. On 01 August 2026, Batch Sindak-Laya CL 2026 proudly commemorated their Graduation Ceremony, a moment that symbolizes discipline, perseverance, and unity.

This milestone reflects the strength built through effort, the honor earned by commitment, and the resilience forged in the face of challenges. The journey of Military Science 3 was more than just training; it was a transformation. Each drill, lecture, and exercise became a stepping stone toward molding leaders who embody courage, service, and responsibility. These Cadet Officers now stand as examples of dedication, prepared to uphold the values of ROTC and the ideals of service to the nation.

𝟭𝗦𝗧 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗗𝗔𝗬 》The 279th NROTC Unit UPHS Manila officially kicked off its Military Science 1 journey today with the Opening Ceremony and Orientation. Stepping into this training means embracing greater responsibility and today marks our first bold steps toward discipline, leadership, and resilience.

This session gave our new cadets a clear preview of the training, activities, and programs that await them this semester, along with key guidance on standards, courtesy, and expectations as part of the unit.
