It was a long five years yet it was worth the wait! What was once a proposal for our project in the subject "Broadcast Relations and Promotions" under Dr. Divina Pasumbal is now a full-pledged award-giving body (and a revamp from 2010's G*t Apolinario Mabini Awards). The credit is no longer ours but to all the people who exerted their time and effort to bring this to fruition. For that, thank you very much co-PUPians and COCians!

In 2009, then BBrC159 graduating students submitted a final project proposal to Dr. Divine Pasumbal for their subject in Broadcast Relations and Promotions (RC203). Months later, their concept was formally launched in the university as the PUP G*t Apolinario Mabini Awards for individuals who have shown excellence in their chosen fields.

This year, PUP launches the same event but will only focus on media and advertising, and is now called the PUP Mabini Media Awards. 10-14-10. BBrC159's baby project has finally been fully implemented. The G*t Apolinario Mabini Awards, once just a proposal by an outstanding class for a Broadcast Relations and Promotions subject, has now become another legacy of BBrC159. Kudos! :)
