The University of the Philippines Manila College of Pharmacy proudly congratulates our Patient Counseling Team for winning 1st Place at the National Patient Counseling Event 2026. This achievement reflects the teamโ€™s excellence in patient-centered communication, clinical knowledge, and commitment to promoting the safe and effective use of medicines.

We recognize Athena Vega D. Oliva (Patient Counselor) and Princess Jasmine Eleonor C. Delos Angeles (Assistant Counselor) for their outstanding performance, together with their dedicated coaches Maโ€™am Veronica D. Solis and Sir Mathew P. Albania, whose guidance and mentorship helped lead the team to victory.

This accomplishment highlights the continued commitment of UPCP to academic excellence and the development of future pharmacists who are skilled in delivering compassionate, patient-focused care.

The UP Manila College of Pharmacy continues its legacy of upholding honor and excellence as it celebrates its 14 new pharmacists achieving a 100% passing rate for the April 2026 Pharmacists Licensure Exam (PhLE)!

โ€‹โ€‹The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 1,085 out of 1,895 passed the Pharmacists Licensure Examination given by the Board of Pharmacy (57.26% National Passing Rate). The PhLE was held on April 18-19, 2026, and the results were released on April 22, 2026.

The UP Manila College of Pharmacy proudly congratulates its 14 alumni who dared to take the exam and are now among the list of passers. May you serve the Pharmacy profession with honor and excellence.

I am Bea Louisse R. Truya, a BS Pharmacy student from the UP Manila College of Pharmacy. The College of Pharmacy proudly congratulates Asst. Prof. Jarvin Enosh T. Tan for becoming the first Board-Certified Psychiatric Pharmacist (BCPP) in the Philippines.

The Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) verified that his BCPP certification became effective on February 16, 2026, with active status valid through December 31, 2033.

The BCPP credential recognizes pharmacists with advanced expertise in psychiatric pharmacotherapy and the management of mental health conditions, reflecting the highest standards of specialization in pharmacy practice.

This milestone represents a significant contribution to the advancement of psychiatric pharmacy practice and mental health care in the Philippines.
