Across five days of ๐—ด๐˜‚๐—ถ๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐—ฑ ๐—ฑ๐—ถ๐˜€๐—ฐ๐˜‚๐˜€๐˜€๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜€ and ๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ๐˜€-๐—ผ๐—ป ๐˜€๐˜๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐˜€๐˜๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐—ฎ๐—น ๐—ฒ๐˜…๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ฐ๐—ถ๐˜€๐—ฒ๐˜€, participants explored how statistical thinking can ๐™ฉ๐™ง๐™–๐™ฃ๐™จ๐™›๐™ค๐™ง๐™ข ๐™ง๐™–๐™ฌ ๐™™๐™–๐™ฉ๐™– ๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™ฉ๐™ค ๐™ข๐™š๐™–๐™ฃ๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™œ๐™›๐™ช๐™ก ๐™š๐™ซ๐™ž๐™™๐™š๐™ฃ๐™˜๐™š for pharmaceutical and health research. From understanding variables and scales of measurement to data visualization, hypothesis testing, ANOVA, correlation and regression, and non-parametric methods, participants strengthened their ability to select, apply, and interpret appropriate statistical methods in research.

โ€œEthical, Legal, Social, and Health System Implications of 9-valent Human Papillomavirus (9vHPV) Vaccine in the Philippines: A Scoping Review and Qualitative Studyโ€

The study examines the factors influencing the adoption and accessibility of the 9vHPV vaccine in the Philippines. Its findings underscore the importance of addressing ethical concerns, cultural misconceptions, affordability, health-system capacity, and sustainable financing to support equitable access to HPV vaccination.

The UP College of Pharmacy successfully concluded the ๐๐ก๐š๐ซ๐ฆ๐š๐œ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฌ ๐ข๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐‡๐ž๐š๐ฅ๐ญ๐ก ๐‚๐š๐ซ๐ž ๐’๐ฒ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ž๐ฆ ๐‹๐ž๐œ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž ๐’๐ž๐ซ๐ข๐ž๐ฌ after six weeks of exploring key topics on the ๐™š๐™ซ๐™ค๐™ก๐™ซ๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™œ ๐™ง๐™ค๐™ก๐™š๐™จ ๐™ค๐™› ๐™ฅ๐™๐™–๐™ง๐™ข๐™–๐™˜๐™ž๐™จ๐™ฉ๐™จ within the health system. The final session was held yesterday, August 3, marking the successful completion of the program.

๐ŸŽ‰ A Milestone in Excellence for the UP College of Pharmacy! ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ’Š

The University of the Philippines College of Pharmacy proudly celebrates the successful ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) Programme Assessment for its Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BSP) and Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences (BSPS) programs, held on June 2โ€“4, 2026. Over the course of three days, the assessment team conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the programs, including expected learning outcomes, curriculum design, teaching and learning approaches, student assessment, academic staff, student support services, facilities, and program outcomes. The visit also included document validation, interviews with administrators, faculty, students, alumni, employers, and support staff, as well as tours of classrooms, laboratories, libraries, and other learning facilities.

This achievement reflects the unwavering commitment of the College to continuous quality improvement, international benchmarking, and academic excellence in pharmacy education. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our faculty, staff, students, alumni, industry partners, university administrators, and the AUN-QA assessors for their invaluable contributions throughout this journey.
