The Philippine Association of Nutrition - Delta Chapter offers its profound sympathies on the passing of Mr. Hector C. Maglalang.

We honor his unwavering devotion to nutrition and his steadfast support for student leaders across the country. His contributions to our community will never be forgotten.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this time.

Rest in peace, our dearest ka-Hector 🕊😔

We at the Philippine Association of Nutrition, Inc. mourn the passing of Mr. Hector C. Maglalang (29 December 1957 - 02 August 2026), a beloved leader, mentor, and friend.

Mr. Maglalang served as PAN President from 2024 to 2025 and remained an ex-officio member until his passing. He received the most recent Dr. Francisco O. Santos Memorial Award in 2022 and was a PAN Fellow Awardee in 2010—recognitions of his outstanding contributions to community nutrition. As a food chemist, he devoted his life to advancing programs such as food fortification, helping to reduce malnutrition in the Philippines and improve the lives of countless Filipinos.

Our thoughts and deepest condolences go out to his family, friends, colleagues, and all who were touched by his compassion, leadership, and service. We are deeply grateful for the life he shared with us and for the enduring impact of his work and legacy.

Sa patuloy na paghahanda para sa ✨𝐊𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐚 𝐬𝐚 𝐍𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐲𝐨𝐧✨ ngayong Sabado, Hulyo 25, 2026 sa Barangay San Isidro Labrador Hall, itinatampok natin ang ating mga imbitadong Registered Nutritionist-Dietitians (RNDs) na magiging gabay ng ating pamayanan.

Makakasama natin si 𝐌𝐬. 𝐀𝐥𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐚𝐧, 𝐑𝐍𝐃 na magsisilbing tagapagsalita ukol sa 𝙈𝙖𝙡𝙣𝙪𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙮𝙤𝙣 - 𝙁𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 1,000 𝘿𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙣𝙞 𝘽𝙖𝙗𝙮 🤱🏻, pati na rin si 𝐌𝐬. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐋𝐚𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢 𝐒. 𝐄𝐬𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐥, RND na magbabahagi ukol sa 𝙉𝙪𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙞𝙣 𝙀𝙢𝙚𝙧𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙨 🚨.
