General Elections 2026

Following the conclusion of the General Elections 2026 last ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฏ ๐—”๐˜‚๐—ด๐˜‚๐˜€๐˜ ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฒ, the DLSU-USG Commission on Elections (COMELEC) officially declares a ๐—™๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐—น๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ฒ ๐—ผ๐—ณ ๐—˜๐—น๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜€ ๐—ณ๐—ผ๐—ฟ ๐—ง๐—›๐—ฅ๐—˜๐—˜ (๐Ÿฏ) ๐—ฝ๐—ผ๐˜€๐—ถ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜€ from the Manila Campus due to failure to achieve the required ๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿฌ% + ๐Ÿญ ๐˜ƒ๐—ผ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐˜๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ป๐—ผ๐˜‚๐˜, as stipulated in Article VIII, Section 29.2 of the Omnibus Election Code.

In addition, a total of ๐—™๐—ข๐—ฅ๐—ง๐—ฌ-๐—™๐—œ๐—ฉ๐—˜ (๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿฑ) ๐—ฝ๐—ผ๐˜€๐—ถ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜€ ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐—ป ๐˜‚๐—ป๐—ณ๐—ถ๐—น๐—น๐—ฒ๐—ฑ across the Manila Campus, and ๐—ง๐—˜๐—ก (๐Ÿญ๐Ÿฌ) ๐—ฝ๐—ผ๐˜€๐—ถ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜€ ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐—ป ๐˜‚๐—ป๐—ณ๐—ถ๐—น๐—น๐—ฒ๐—ฑ across the Laguna Campus.

In light of these developments, COMELEC shall call for a ๐—ฆ๐—ฝ๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐—ถ๐—ฎ๐—น ๐—˜๐—น๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป ๐—ฑ๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ง๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—บ ๐Ÿญ ๐—ผ๐—ณ ๐—”๐—ฌ ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฒโ€“๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿณ to address these vacancies.
