𝗜𝗠𝗦 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗦𝗛𝗦 𝗞𝗼𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗹

The Information Management Service (IMS) visited UPM SHS Koronadal from September 14 to 17, 2026. During the visit, the IMS team consulted with SHS Koronadal officials on their ICT concerns, particularly those involving network and information systems. They also performed necessary maintenance and troubleshooting on the unit's hardware and network infrastructure to ensure continued smooth operations.

The visit also provided an opportunity for knowledge sharing, allowing the IMS team to update SHS Koronadal staff on ICT-related matters within UP Manila.

This visit is part of IMS's ongoing efforts to strengthen its connection with UPM constituents and provide responsive, on-the-ground ICT support.

Today is Programmer’s Day! 🧑‍💻

This day recognizes and celebrates the programmers who develop and maintain the systems that keep our university running. A big thanks to our programmers for their hard work! ♥️

Fun fact: Programmers’ Day is celebrated on the 256th day of the year (September 13 in a common year or September 12 in a leap year) because 256 is the number of distinct values that can be represented by an 8-bit byte 🤓

💻𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆 📚

The United Nations defines digital literacy as “the 𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗲, 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲, 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲, 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲, 𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀 and networked devices for participation in economic and social life. As part of our effort to improve our services, we are conducting a survey on ISKOLAR’s user experience (UX). Your insights will help us improve your experience on ISKOLAR as well as the other information systems managed by the IMS.

Specifically, we are looking for respondents who:
- are at least 𝟭𝟴 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗹𝗱;

𝗪𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗨𝗙𝗛! 🌐

We are also proud to share that the IMS provided assistance to address the event’s technical needs and help ensure its successful implementation. We facilitated the setup of the UPMASA Auditorium and the rooms used for the TUFH 2026 Conference. The venues were equipped and configured to support hybrid workshops, with the necessary audio-visual equipment and technical assistance provided to ensure the seamless delivery of each session.
