Chemists and Chemical Technician Board Examinees attended the Send Off Mass and Program last October 8, 2026. The mass was presided by Fr. John Khongsai, CM at the St. Therese Chapel. After the mass, the examinees gathered for a short program, hearing inspiring messages from the faculty of the department. Afterwards, Ms. Noligen S. Waling, RGC discussed ways on preparing mentally for the examination. We thank our partner offices, the Campus Ministry Adamson University and Adamson Guidance, for helping us with this event.

We wish our Chem-mates the best of luck for their Board Exams on October 12 (Chemical Technicians), 13 & 14 (Chemists)!

CALLING ALL SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS!

We invite you to answer the interest survey on the planned BS Textile Science offering of the Department of Chemistry, Adamson University.

The proposed BS Textile Science program is a 4-year program focused on the chemical, physical, and engineering properties of fibers, polymers, and fabrics. It aims to help strengthen the Philippine Textile Industry by training new scientists in the concepts, processes and new technologies in the field.

The first two years of the proposed program is patterned after the BS Chemistry program, allowing future Textile Scientists to take the Chemical Technicians Licensure Examination (CTLE) and be a licensed professional. The last two years focuses more on the textile science aspect, with courses on Textile Processing, Yarn Production, Fiber Science, Color Science, and Polymer Science among others. The last semester of the program offers a full semestral internship, which allows the future graduates to be employed right away after graduation.

The program will also be in partnership with the Department of Science and Technology - Philippine Textile Research Institute (DOST-PTRI) in terms of developing and teaching in the proposed program.

Your interest can help shape the future of Textile Science here in the Philippines.
