𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗪 𝗡𝗚 𝗞𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗔𝗡 🇵🇭

Kalayaan ang isa sa mga salitang madalas nating binibigkas, ngunit bihira nating tanungin: Tunay nga ba tayong malaya?

Mahigit isang siglo na ang lumipas mula nang iwagayway ang watawat ng kalayaan, ngunit hanggang ngayon, may mga tinig na hindi pa rin lubos na naririnig, may mga karapatang patuloy na ipinaglalaban, at may mga pangarap na nananatiling nakakulong sa mga hadlang ng lipunan.

Sa paggunita sa Araw ng Kalayaan, nawa’y hindi lamang natin alalahanin ang nakaraan kundi suriin din ang kasalukuyan. Sapagkat ang kalayaan ay hindi lamang minana. Ito ay patuloy na pinangangalagaan, ipinagtatanggol, at isinasabuhay.

Sa bawat tanong na ating itinataas, sa bawat katotohanang ating ipinaglalaban, at sa bawat hakbang tungo sa mas makatarungan at makataong lipunan, doon tunay na nabubuhay ang diwa ng kalayaan.

Ang kalayaan ay hindi lamang pag-alala sa kasaysayan. Ito ay pagtitiyak na may kinabukasang malayang maipagmamalaki ng bawat Pilipino.

The PUP Maragondon Student Council Commission on Elections (SC-COMELEC) is now opening applications for one (1) Co-Chairperson position and six (6) Commissioner positions.

We are seeking students who embody integrity, impartiality, and a genuine commitment to public service. As a COMELEC Co-Chairperson or Commissioner, you will help ensure that every student election is conducted fairly and transparently.

If you are ready to take on the responsibility of safeguarding the electoral process and promoting student participation, we encourage you to apply.

Opisyal nang inilalabas ang resulta ng Campus-Wide Election of Officers para sa Academic Year 2026-2027, kasunod ng isang malaya, patas, at aktibong demokratikong proseso na sinaksihan ng pakikilahok ng mga estudyante.

Sa pagtatapos ng halalan, kinikilala natin ang mga bagong halal na opisyal ng 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 at ng iba’t ibang 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀—mga lider na inatasang magsilbing boses, sandigan, at kinatawan ng bawat Isko at Iska.

Pagbati sa mga bagong lider! Ang tagumpay ninyo ay hindi lamang bunga ng boto, kundi ng tiwalang ipinagkaloob ng mga mag-aaral. Nawa’y ito ay suklian ng tapat na paglilingkod, malasakit, at paninindigan para sa kapakanan ng buong komunidad.

Alinsunod dito, pinaaalalahanan ang lahat ng kinauukulan sa probisyon ng Article XII, Section 17 ng Revised SC COMELEC Constitution and By-Laws:

“Kung sakaling ang iisang tumatakbo para sa pagkapangulo (walang katunggali) ay hindi makakakuha ng 50% + 1 na kinakailangan sa loob ng political party, isasagawa ang isang special election para sa posisyon ng pangulo ng organisasyon sa loob ng unang tatlumpung (30) araw ng akademikong taon.”
