Dear subscribers:
We sincerely apologize for the delay in releasing the PRIMUS 2022 yearbook. This announcement is intended to inform you that we are currently working on the second (2nd) proof dummies, which comprise the colored graduates' data and other relevant materials. This stage is as crucial as other phases to ensure that the final output is accurate, complete, and truly reflective of our batch.
Other than that, we would also want to be transparent about the main reasons behind the delay:
โข Limited Manpower โ The editorial team is understaffed, with some members being inactive.
โข Conflicting Schedules - As students, academic responsibilities and other commitments have made it more difficult for staff to coordinate and work consistently before and after each progress. Note also that there is a lack of centralized (onsite) operations due to geographical limitations.
โข Student Online System Concerns โ After reviewing the yearbook dummies, several student entries in the system were missing or incomplete, while many pertinent pieces of information are subject to review and proofreading due to possible errors and/or inconsistencies. All of which required manual verification.
โข Delayed/No Responses โ Several students responded late to follow-ups channeled through PRIMUS Email and other online platforms. Meanwhile, some could no longer be reached due to deactivated institutional emails.
โข Revisions in Page Plans โ Considering the limited number of pages, we have made necessary changes to our allocation plans. Please note also that delays were incurred due to the unreconciled number of graduates in the official masterlist provided to us, affecting layout and pagination.
We understand the importance of this yearbook to everyone as it serves not just a book, but a time capsule of our shared memories as CMU-SHS students. Please know that we are doing everything we can to finalize and release the yearbook optimisticallyโ on or before the end of 2025.
With an open heart, thank you very much for your continued patience, and again, we sincerely apologize to all affected subscribers. Likewise, our deepest regrets for this late update. Your understanding and support mean a lot to the entire team as we strive to deliver the yearbook as soonest as we can.
